  Wes came out to two of my properties to see what work I needed done, one of which was replacing a shower. I called a week and a half later to see if the quote was ready. The receptionist said he would reply within 24 hours and also sent him an email. It’s been a month now and I never did get quotes for the work I needed done. I have since found other businesses who were more receptive and for the work done. Would not recommend using. Wasted my time.

  Design consultant was thoughtful and helpful. Project manager kept us informed of plans and progress and was attentive to details. Workers were considerate and took pains to ensure that work area was kept in order and non-work areas were protected from noise and dirt. Work took a long time but did involve interactions among a number of trades and was completed by the final completion date that we had agreed up front.

  We needed several small projects done at our home and used Back Construction's Handyman Department. Mikael Miller was our Project Developer - he came to the house and we discussed all the options, then he drew up a proposal. On the designated day Schon Holman, our Project Manager and Technician arrived on time and completed all 4 projects. Again, he was open to suggestions and together we fine-tuned the designs and in the end all projects were completed to our complete satisfaction. He also told us the final bill would be less than promised...great news! Throughout the entire process everyone was professional, competent and friendly. We cannot recommend Back Construction highly enough!

  We had a long list of Handyman tasks as well as a bigger hardwood flooring project. Great experience from the start. Lisa took my initial call and was pleasant and knowledgeable. Wes Dickerson in sales came to our property promptly and patiently walked through the house to note all the repairs & maintenance we required. The quote was detailed and fairly priced. Eric Reynolds was our project manager & he too has been thorough and on top of things. Biggest praise goes out to Sergei Kirilyuk - super nice man and did a great job on all the handyman items. We’re moving on to the flooring project now and expect that to be a good experience also. I have had prior experiences with Back Construction via my job and they’ve always been top notch. Highly recommended.

  I needed my back porch/carport and a section of my driveway rebuilt after a small portion of the wall supporting the carport started to settle and crack, causing major cracking and moderate collapsing of the slab where we can park two our cars or enjoy a party on the back porch. It was a big job. I live on a hill that slopes to the back, so most of the porch/carport is elevated 3 feet off the ground, tapering to 1ft where it meets the driveway. I got a few estimates on repairs and decided to go with Back Construction because they've been around a long time and have a good reputation for doing good work. Thank goodness I did! This didn't start off well but has a happy ending. The project was supposed to start September 2024 but due to other projects getting delayed they could not get to my project until mid-November. I was reluctant to start so late in the season but Back found a company that was available and contracted them to do the work when they assured Back (and me) they could get it done in 2 to 4 weeks, or so. It's a long story (and at the time, a very worrisome experience), but not all of the work got done before winter set in, and more distressing was the fact that it didn't get done well. As soon as spring weather arrived the project manager and higher ups from Back Construction came out repeatedly to see what they could do to finish the job right and fix the various issues. They hired multiple other companies to come make repairs, but despite their hard efforts and extra expense (for Back) it was obvious it just wasn't going to work out, and this carport was not going to hold up. They took the initiative and offered to tear the whole thing down and start all over from scratch – at their expense as their work is warranted and, as they said, “their reputation is important to them”. We started over with a new demo and in three short weeks I have a wonderful, strong, smart looking carport / back porch. I could tell this group knew exactly what they were doing and I can tell this is going to last. I want to thank, especially, Schon Holman, Project Manager from beginning to end, who oversaw the repairs and hovered over all those involved in getting this done, done on time and done right. I appreciated his constant communication with me and his oversite with all the contracted workers; and Wes Dickerson, Project Developer, who, behind the scenes supported Schon and said, “let’s start over”. Also, Tim Phillips, carpenter and supervisor for all the nice finishing touches that can make or break a project at the very end, Eddie Plaster and Plaster’s Concrete - he stayed close to the project and made sure a difficult job ran smoothly, and to his friendly team who did the job as if it were their own home (and cleaned up everything afterwards – thanks!), And Aaron Haney with Bluegrass Brush and Finish for a beautiful paint job. Back Construction cost a little bit more than the next estimate I got, but if I hadn’t gone with them, I might have been stuck with a very expensive mess, and on my own to somehow remedy it. Thank you, Back Construction. I would definitely use them again for any home repair/reno.
