The two representatives gave me two different prices. One said the cost would be $6000.00. The other said they recently did a similar job on another system slightly larger than mine for $4500.00. Both prices are way more than other solar companies gave me. Yellow Dwarf Solar in Somerset quoted me a price of $1800.00 to remove and reinstall system. This quote is in line with the insurance company's estimate of $1900.00 to remove and reinstall system. JM Roofing company quoted me $2400.00 to remove and reinstall the system. $4500 to $6000 is way too high. Had the company's quote been reasonable I would have given them the job as I suspect they would do a good job but don't know for sure. I will likely give the job to Yellow Dwarf Solar unless Solar Energy Solutions, the company that installed the system gives me a better quote when their estimate comes in. I am sorry that I could not hire Wilderness Trace Solar but it pays to get several estimates
