$480 to snake my kitchen sink! Ridiculous price, but I would not say a word if I could have washed dishes after the plumber left. But my sink was still clogged! I borrowed a snake from a friend and had my sink flowing in less than 45 minutes. I called the office to ask for a bit of my money back. Not all because I do believe I owe something for them showing up and trying. Owner says no, they are keeping all of my $480. Embarrassing. Zero stars are not allowed so I submit 1 star.

I recently hired Apex Plumbing to move a waterline for my dishwasher. Before the technician began, he quoted me $369. After completing the work, he informed me that because he had replaced a basic water valve — a part that costs under $10 — the total had suddenly increased to $715. At no point did he stop to explain this or ask for approval before doing the additional work. Only after I questioned the charge did he quickly drop the price back to the original quote, which made the sudden increase feel unjustified and misleading. When I called the company for clarification, I was told they use “flat rate pricing,” and that $350 is their standard charge for a valve replacement. However, no one could explain why this cost was not discussed with me beforehand, or why the price doubled after the job was completed. Instead, I was repeatedly asked, “What’s the problem?” which felt dismissive and unprofessional. I’m glad I wasn’t ultimately charged the inflated amount, but the experience left me feeling taken advantage of. Because of the lack of transparency and poor communication, I won’t be using Apex Plumbing again and want others to be aware of my experience.

Aaron and Mike did a great job. Felt like they were honest, which means more to me than anything. I can’t tell you how many people try to “see me coming” due to our house size/neighborhood and jack prices up trying to close me then talk me down or call me back with a lowered price. Value and not massive markup due to that has caused me to run a lot of people out in minutes. We appreciate you all. Tyler Oliver President & Dealer Principal Georgetown Auto Sales Inc

Joe April with Apex Plumbing was excellent! We had a water heater under the house making it a tough job to replace. He was professional and very knowledgeable. Apex Plumbing came when they said they would. I had called a few plumbers for other work, did not call me back or said they were coming and didn't show up. I recommend this company 💯 percent

Worst after the fact customer service I’ve ever gotten. Their tech did a fine job pumping my septic tank, but apparently he didn’t know how to take my payment. He left as if everything went fine and payment went through. I get a call three months later that payment didn’t not go through, I said everything went fine at time of payment and they told me they would look into it. Never get a call back until I personally call them for another issue 2 weeks after they had called me about the payment. They again inform me payment didn’t go through to which I tell them that is their fault since everything went fine at the time of the actual transaction when they took my card information which they apparently never entered or something . They then threatened me with a lien (only $350 for a very large statewide company) and then continually tried to put the blame on me for them never processing the payment I had been led to believe was processed. I asked for even a discount to which they would not give me for the service. I ended up paying it because fighting them any further wasn’t worth the time. If they make a mistake, expect to be threatened and bullied and told it’s somehow your fault. This company sucks.
