Kremer plumbing was used by my home warranty company. They came to fix a leaky toilet. They replaced the wax ring and left. The toilet was still leaking. I called the home warranty and set up another fix. Kremer said the toilet would need to be replaced. They wanted me to pay $821 out of pocket, in addition to the $315 they get from the home warranty company. I hired a different plumber who replaced the toilet for $365 total. I see Kremer has other reviews that are positive, so I don't know why they treated me like this, but I can only describe my experience with them. From my experience they are predatory and I suggest to look elsewhere.
Edit to respond to what the owner said:
#1 I was told the wax ring was replaced by your plumber, so if that was not replaced then I was not communicated to truthfully about what work was being done by your plumber. I also received the same communication from the warranty company and was told it was fixed by them.
#2. I've never attempted to replace the toilet. If a person broke the toilet it wasn't me, and I don't know who did it. All I know is I flushed the toilet and it started leaking, that's all I can say about that.
#3 I never received communication from the warranty company that they wouldn't cover it. They specifically told me they would cover $315 and I was responsible for anything over. Your plumber told me it would be an additional $821 over the $315. I can only go by what was communicated to me, and that's what I was told.
#4 Regardless, even if I had broken it myself, which I didn't, why would it matter? Why would that make the cost over $1100 ($815 from me + $315 from the warranty)? The point is that you wanted over $1100 to replace a toilet, which is triple what it should cost, and I ended up paying 1/3 by hiring a different plumber to do the same thing you were going to charge 3x as much to do. That's why I called it predatory. There is no justification to charge that much to simply replace a toilet no matter how it was broken.
Again, I can't say what anyone else's experience will be, I see good reviews from others, I can only comment on mine, and what I'm hearing now is that not only was my toilet not fixed, not only was there an attempt to grossly over charge me, but I was not honestly communicated to by your plumber. Do better.
