  We have not been impressed for years until this last weekend. Everyone was super helpful and friendly, amazing improvement! Excited to shop local again!

  I live in the next town over and was having a challenging time trying to find a thermostat for my home HVAC that was ANY brand other than Honeywell. Home Lumber came through with an alternate brand, and the brand that my HVAC Guy said he likes the best, White-Rodgers. It was hanging with all of the others and was priced at $29.99. When it rang up it was somewhere near $80.00 I missed that the prices were wrong as I had been looking at these things online for a week and it seemed to fit. However I did realize it on my way out. So I turned around and went and questioned it. I shown the gentleman where it was and how it was priced on the shelf. Without hesitation he said he would refund me the difference because of the error being on their side. I told him I appreciated that and would meet him half way on the difference so we were both getting something out of, me a price drop and him not losing all of his money on the sale. It all worked out that way. Remember when you are dealing with small locally owned businesses like this that they are probably close to functioning in the red and little things like this really can add up to them. I will def be going back over there if I am looking for a specific thing and not having luck with my usual places. High Five, Home Lumber!!!

  Drove by and wouldn't stop. Someone standing in entrance with headphones , that and the exterior appearance kept us from going in. Losing business because it doesn't look clean or inviting. Needs a makeover
