  If I could leave "minus" stars I would! Buyer beware.... to start this review off I will say that this "project" took 2 years!!! We put our deposit down in 2024! Tuff Shed said they had a dedicated team for KCMO to assist with the process & to help expedite the permit... not true. Customer service is/was pushy from beginning to end and even accusatory during the construction process. They cancelled our first install date & demanded more money!!!???!!! They somehow started w/out us signing the new paperwork for more money, yet they are still pushing us for more money!! We have everything in writing! Our salesperson... no help, no calls back, no touch base to see how project was going...just collected his commission & moved on. No calls from managers... locally, district or national!! They were hoping we would cancel and they could keep our deposit, but that was not happening!!! We did have a few people along the way that did help, but overall it has been an absolute horrible experience!!! Time is money and we received the certificate of occupancy a few weeks ago... and now we have MOLD!!!! This is a nightmare and now we have to push out other contractors because of this issue! Time is money and this continues to cost us more and more everyday! And this garage is only 18'x20'. I will update my review, but I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!!! I will report to BBB, Trustpilot and any additional opportunities to review this company.

  Had a great experience, staff was nice throughout the whole build. Made it the way we wanted. And are always there if we need anything. Highly recommend!

  They make some very beautiful sheds n have amazing workers who go out their way to do it right the way the customer wants.

  Had two groups of installers out to install the shed. The first group stated the shed would move without sufficient anchoring, but did not offer to anchor the shed. After numerous attempts to hire a construction company to install anchors without success, spoke with the Independence salesperson at a Home & Garden Show at Kemper Arena and he stated Tuff Shed can provide and install the anchors. The second group who came out on the 13th did an excellent, very professional job and kept me informed of all progress. For my next shed, will contact Andy Shill in place of the Leavenworth salesman.

  Horrific experience all the way around. Would not trust anything one of their employees says. Purchased a shed through Home Depot as a vendor. Explained had another shed of theirs on property that needed to be moved first before new on was built. Assured it was not an issue. 2 weeks goes by after purchase and day of install told one employee hurt their back and another person called and said an employee didn't return from vacation. OK, things happen, but reminded those employees that the shed on site still wasn't moved. Another week goes by and on day of pouring rain employee shows up to move shed as the install is coming an hour later or so. Employee to move shed tries and it won't budge. Say its needs to be empty. And since I wasn't on his original schedule he will call the office. Now it get comical, because how are you gonna build over the top of the existing shed. Told salesperson from purchase I was not unloading existing shed. However some sort of operations manager calls 4-5 hours later and says you need to unload the shed. I explained they had 3 weeks to move it in decent weather and you want me to unload it in pouring rain and you want to build my new one in pouring rain. He stated we do this stuff every day. Told him just cancel the new shed then. Stated OK but you pay a restocking fee. Pay a fee for ZERO work that was done and being put off because of THEIR employee issues. Would never recommend this company to anyone except someone I might truly hate and dislike. Oh and damaged the base of existing shed. Great job guys.
