- SSSandyAug 19, 20254.0We were happy there was no pressure when picking out our carpet; the salespeople were friendly without being pushy. We were really happy with the hard-working installers. However, we were a little disappointed when we didn’t get a call from anyone in the office to follow up after the install; that would’ve been nice. It also would’ve been nice to have the salesperson inform us of our options for the type of transitions from the new carpet to our existing laminate flooring. We ended up discussing this with our installer and decided not to use the metal transitions that we paid for. Also, I’m not sure if it’s typical to assume the homeowner doesn’t want any of the unused carpet. At the end of the 2nd install day, we asked to keep some of the stair carpeting in case there was ever a problem but didn’t to think to ask about the bedroom leftovers from the first day.
