We had Jorge replace all of the sheetrock and a few of the frame studs that had damage. I have worked with many companies doing remodeling/painting, and all sorts of work. Jorge and his team at Uprise Remodeling have been the most professional team I have ever worked with. His pricing is fair and reasonable and the service really couldn't be better. We made several change orders after the original demo and we found more damage than we expected. It was never a problem and the pricing stayed within the range we originally discussed. There were no huge increases after we changed the work being completed, mid-project. Jorge completed the final walk through himself. His team was at my house all day working around my family and pets, and there was not one single issue that came up as a result. I would feel comfortable leaving Jorge's team working alone in my home and never worry about anything. I will be using Jorge and Uprise Remodeling for all of my future home renovations.
- LMLinda MNov 27, 20251.0They cut out pieces of my hardwood floor for some reason to install a patio door and filled the gap with caulk which is letting in air. They also cut a huge strip out of my floor to install an entry door which they also filled with caulk after I insisted they couldn’t leave it open because the vinyl flooring would peel. The storm door and entry door have gaps that let in light and air. After they were done, I was charged an additional $300.00 because Jorge “forgot” to charge me for the storm door. I questioned this additional fee due to his crew struggling with not knowing how to install the door. I REGRET using this company!! Update: I expressed my frustration with how the floors were damaged and the only solution offered to repair the damage was to fill the cut out strips of floor with caulk. That’s the only thing Uprise did to repair the damage. Their other solution was to replace my previously undamaged floors. This was unacceptable and unaffordable.
