  Everyone I dealt with at this company was great, from the customer service rep that quickly booked me to the tech who showed up, who was professional and helpful. However the price they tried to charge me for a simple motor replacement was egregious. I turned down the service, sourced the motor, and hired a handyman to do it for less than 20% of the cost on the same day. The service level these guys provide is great but be prepared to pay multiples of market value for it. Also be prepared for a flurry of texts asking you to write a review regardless of your service

  Waylon was punctual and very professional. He went over a couple of options available to me and let ME decide which would be the best for me. He also worked with me to keep the best result within my budget. Not if, but when my other garage door will need to be repaired or replaced, I definitely know who I'll be calling!

  Waylon Bloss was very food and professional. However, the oveall business practice of the company is flawed. I was asked to pay a deposit up front and to schedule the service to be completed later. I would pay the remaining funds uponb completion. I did not comply with this request. Either you will complete the service at the scheduled time (and receive payment in full) or you won't. The office manager was not a good business person, and I would terminate an employee who would let money walk out the door.

  On Thursday morning, Ryan Literski and Corey Heath arrived on time to do an estimate to repair older garage door openers. After the inspection, they went over all that needed to be repaired. At that point, we decided to go ahead and get everything done. Considering they were there for an estimate, they could have put us on the schedule to have things done. They replaced everything that needed to be done. By the time they left, everything was working great and everything was cleaned up. Thank you for the fantastic job.

  Bad experience with A1. Maybe is just the training. The rep worker that came was very friendly. First thing he did when I moved away was to cover my current garage door service provider sticker with their own - I mean covered, not put on the side, I mentioned to him. Then I made clear to him (as I made clear when I ordered the visit) my needs. Long story short, he was pushing to sell me a new garage door motor, mentioning mine is too old (like if I didn’t know lol). Then he charged me $650 for what I needed and I told him I paid less than $100 last time for the same need - then he called his supervisor and the $650 turned into $150 in 5 mins (considering he was not going to install a keypad anymore) then he started doing the job for the 150 (replacing sensors), then he noticed that it would not be satisfactory, then again he tried to sell me a new motor for 2k but also said that in a phone call that price would change a lot (like the first price change). In the end I just asked him to put it back as it was. I’ll look for my previous provider, or I’ll buy sensors on Amazon for 10 bucks an and will rewire myself. It is just sad that in an economy that we are in, you still need to “show” proof that the pricing gouging is this absurd. Very unhappy.
