As always the Homecomfort team saved the day. Jeremy Choquette was great. Our house is from 1952 and we are slowly remodeling it but not ready to do all of the plumbing. Today Jeremy came to open the washer drain and discovered the p trap is wrong but got it going until spring when we will look at replacing all of the plumbing. Thanks Jeremy.

I can’t even begin to tell you what horrible experience we have had with this company. We’ve had an issue for over two years with a brand new water softener. We’ve now realized it’s defective but after having someone come out every year and tell us there’s nothing wrong, now that the warranty is up they’ve figured it out. HOWEVER, we got the “diagnosis” in October with zero communication after telling us they’d order the stuff to fix and we’d have to pay $800… I called them again in November and they said they would look into it and call me back. Now it’s January 6th and I call them to cancel all services because they suck and clearly don’t do good business so I won’t give them another penny! And they do nothing still to try and make it right…

Have been with Home Comfort services front our previous home and now currently with our home. Technicians have been courteous, knowledgeable & professional. From setting appts, getting message updates for tech arrival to phone call from tech that he's on the way is very important. We're on their gold plan and it's paid off in the long run for services. Lucas just did our furnace cleaning an was just great.

We had a furnace and air conditioner installed just over 2 years ago. We have had no problems with the air conditioner and it works great! The furnace, however, is a totally different story. We have had a long lasting problem that no one seems able to fix permanently. The service technicians are always great and seem to sincerely want to remedy the problem. We are disappointed and frustrated that we have to put up with a unreliable heating system.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Home Comfort Experts. A couple of years ago, my wife and I spent approximately $13,000 upgrading our furnace, air conditioner, and water heater. All of these installations are still under warranty. About six months after the new water heater was installed, it began making a popping noise. I contacted Home Comfort Experts, and a technician came out and flushed the unit. He stated that it was still making noise and advised me to call back if it became worse. Approximately six months later, the noise became significantly louder. I contacted Home Comfort Experts again, and another technician claimed he flushed the unit but said the noise persisted. He then told me the only solution was a “major cleaning” that would cost $280. When I explained the unit was still under warranty, I was told this type of cleaning was not covered due to “poor water quality.” I explained that our water quality has not changed, but I was told there was nothing more they could do. I then contacted Brian Curtis, the project manager who sold us the system. He said he would look into the issue and call me back. After a week with no response, I called him again. He told me there was nothing that could be done and laughed, stating that “a little noise wouldn’t hurt anything.” The noise is not minor, and this response was both dismissive and unprofessional. Concerned, I contacted the South Bend Water Company and explained the situation. Their engineer stated that a water heater this new should not be making this type of noise, confirmed that the city’s water quality has not changed in over 40 years, and said the unit itself may be defective. He also stated that the installer should make the issue right. I then contacted Home Comfort Experts’ customer service and requested a call from the owner or president. I was told management would contact me, but no one did. I followed up again, was told I would receive a call within 48 hours, and once again never received a response. I am a disabled person on a fixed income and cannot afford to replace a water heater that is still under warranty. I feel I am being taken advantage of and pressured into paying for additional services instead of having a legitimate warranty issue resolved. Based on how my wife and I have been treated and the lack of accountability or communication, I cannot recommend Home Comfort Experts to anyone.
