  Adams Electric installed a Generac whole house Generator and did so in unfavorable westher conditions. They patiently waited an unreasonable amount of time for the Electric company to install the new meter. They answered all questions very professionally. I highly recommend Adams Electric if you are considering a whole house generator.

  Adams Electric wired our new construction home in 2020, then we had them back to install a Generac standby generator in 2021. The entire process was overwhelmingly positive. Kirt and Andrew did a thorough walk through with my wife and I and provided recommendations on outlet locations, lighting, etc. which was extremely helpful and we are so glad we listened to their suggestions! While they were working, their staff was always respectful, professional and most importantly, CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES! I wish all contractors did this!! The service Adams Electric has been able to provide is truly one of a kind. Alyssa at the office has always been so helpful for anything we ever needed and Kirt and Andrew understand the most important thing that about a Family-owned business...taking care of their customers. If you want the job done right, with a contractor who will stand by their work, look no further than Adams Electric!

  First, let me tell you I haven't dealt with them in 5 years, so maybe they're different now. We bought an old house 7 years ago and immediately went to have it rewired, as it still had knob and tube wiring, and was too big a job for myself. I called 3 different electricians to get quotes. Adams came out and looked around for about half an hour, was friendly enough, but then straight up said, "yeah, we're gonna pass on this one." Now, I'm sorry, but if you do residential wiring, how is it that you "pass" on jobs you just don't feel like doing for some reason. I guess it's their prerogative but that's why they get the one star rating. If you don't want to do old residential(which I was very clear about on the phone beforehand) then don't come out and make me take off work to meet with you, then just decline to do the work. I have no idea on their prices, but he had mentioned something about $8-10k during the walkthrough, and we had it done for $5.5k in the end from an individual union electrician. Hope this helps. And like I said, maybe they just want to do commercial or something, but they shouldn't waste others time if that's the case.
