Dakota was very professional asked what my issues were spent the time to check out our system to make sure we didn’t have any issues for the upcoming season and then went over his findings and gave us the confidence that our system will be working good this year

Aaron was very great today and actually every time he comes it’s very informative throughout the process. He doesn’t try to up sale me with something that doesn’t need to be fixed and I appreciate this. He’s straight forward with what can be done and includes pricing.

Very disappointed! Summers lacks professional integrity! As a loyal customer for over 10 years, their service and quality has deteriorated rapidly! I am firing them as my HVAC company. Fortunately many friends have provided great suggestions for competent, local HVAC professionals whom I will call ASAP!

I called Summers about a Geo Comfort system that was not heating. Summers confirmed that the parts and labor for the system was still under warranty. Summers ordered a new compressor. Kristopher came out to install it. After installing it we still had a problem with a valve. After talking with Enertech (the maker of Geo Comfort) they said he needed to install a new valve. After installing the valve the system was still not work correctly. Kristopher spent and hour or more on the phone with Enertech and told them he thought it was the soft start unit. Enertech said it could not be the soft start module. Kristopher spent another hour on the phone with them covering all other options. After getting off the phone with them he told me it had to be the soft start module. He came back a day later bypassed the soft start and the system has ran like it is supposed to. He still needs to install the, on order, soft start module. But thanks to Kristopher's perseverance my system is back up and running. Thank you.

They will push and make you feel awful about trying to not spend the most amount of money as they possibly can.
They have service contracts, which provides a discount on their services, which are most expensive on average than other places. That service contract includes an hvac system tune up. That tune up is them coming, doing as little as they can, and trying to sell you actually doing something. My blower motor needs cleaned, and their pitches for working on it were to spend 1k to clean my whole ductwork, which is also a crazy price, since only my first floor and part of it is set up with ductwork.
Why does the tune up not include cleaning the blower motor? Why did it basically only include adding some vent tape, cleaning some debris around my outside condenser unit, and fixing a problem that occurred after basic use? My guess, cause it’s a sales visit disguised as a discount. They bothered me for my FREE (not free, I paid for the service contract, it just works out as “saving” money from them cause of the 3k to install my water heater last year).
I don’t recommend them, I think their installers and repairmen know what they are doing overall and did good work, but the business is set up to charge you as much as possible and push you to spend money to get new stuff from them rather than solve problems with your current equipment.
I don’t care if something is getting old if it still works, pitching a new furnace and then trying to instill doubt as I say “hopefully it keeps trucking along for a few more years” with “well, I don’t know man” as you are leaving from a tune up is a salesman tactic, not a repairman tactic.
I genuinely intend to never do business with them again unless I have to.
