Here's what I loved about my experience with Dave's Trucking:
1. I submitted an online form and Betty responded within hours. She gave me the heads up that with the holiday I needed to reserve by noon that day.
2. Considering the amount of time I had with the dumpster, the rates were very reasonable.
3. I didn't need to be home for drop off or pick up.
4. All I had to do was leave a VM to schedule pickup.
5. Dumpster was there early on drop off day and picked up at a reasonable time on pick up day.
Seriously - such an easy and pleasant experience. Highly recommend.

A cubic yard is the area within a 3 ft x 3 ft x 3 ft cube. One cubic yard of dumpster space equals approximately 200 gallons of material or roughly (2) 96 gallon toters.
What size dumpster do I need?
For most jobs, there is no set rule of thumb to determine the size of the container you will need.
If you are doing a roofing tear-off, however, you can make a fairly accurate estimate using the following formula. This formula does not take into account any other trash or decking.
Take the number of square of roofing to be torn off:
Multiply by the number of layers:
Equals TOTAL number of Squares:
Divide Total Squares by 4:
Equals approximate number of cubic yards needed:
30 Squares
x 2 Layers
60 Squares
/ 4(sq/c.y.)
approx. 15 cu. yds
How much does it cost to get a dumpster?
The cost of getting a dumpster varies by 3 main factors; 1) your location ; 2) the type of material you are disposing of; 3) and the size of the dumpster. Different types of material have different weights and disposal options which affect the price. To ensure that you receive the most accurate price for your job a phone call is required.
What types of items can and CANNOT be put in the dumpster?
We accept most common solid waste material. This includes most routine household and construction waste. We also accept tree limbs and certain landscaping materials. Heavy materials may be restricted to certain size containers (i.e. 10, 15 or 20 yards) because the weight would exceed DOT regulations and be unsafe to haul.
We DO NOT accept tires, liquids, pesticides, insecticides, chemicals, paints, oil, fluorescent light tubes, propane tanks, TV's, monitors or any other hazardous/toxic waste, radioactive waste, or "Special" waste, as defined by applicable Local, State and Federal laws or regulations.
We cannot accept refrigerators, freezer units, and air conditioners unless they have been cleaned of any/all coolants and have been properly tagged by a licensed technician.

Generally your driveway is the best location, but you tell us where you would like it. Although there may be some restrictions, most flat hard locations on your property will work. Our experienced, courteous staff will work with you to provide the best placement for your job requirements. Usually street or alley placement requires a Right-Of-Way permit.
Does anybody need to be there for placement of the dumpster?
No, just tell us where you would like it and we'll take care of it.
There are however some circumstances such as; street placement or other special situations which may require someone to be there for authorizations. If someone needs to be there because of these special situations we will let you know when you place your order.
How full can I fill my dumpster?
To the top. You may fill the dumpster completely full but the material must NOT exceed the top edge of the dumpster. We must be able to safely tarp the container and insure that no material will fly out of the container as it is being hauled on the roadways.
What is a cubic yard in terms of dumpster space?
A cubic yard is the volume within a 3 ft x 3 ft x 3 ft cube. One cubic yard equals about 200 gallons of material or approximately two 96-gallon toters.
How can I estimate the dumpster size needed for a roofing tear-off?
Multiply the number of roofing squares by the layers, then divide total squares by 4 to approximate cubic yards needed. For example, 30 squares x 2 layers = 60 squares; 60/4 = approx. 15 cubic yards.
What factors affect the cost of renting a dumpster?
