  After moving into my newly built home 3 years ago, I decided it was finally time to get my HVAC systems checked. After reading enough reviews of local places, I chose Chapman, and I'm glad I did. Within a week, Jarick came out to inspect my AC and heater, was super friendly, took care to leave my home clean, and took so many photos showing me all the checks and cleaning that were done on my system. The cost of the tune up for both heat and AC was fantastic, better than some of the "discounted" rates that I get mailed coupons for with other companies. I'm glad that I wasn't suddenly bombarded with a subscription service plan or that I needed to replace my system for a crazy amount. I did receive an invoice for a clean out of my heater from all the construction dust, and the photos do back up that it is quite dirty. The invoice was quoted quite a bit higher than I expected, but it did not feel salesy at all. The work that was completed was great, and I have faith in choosing Chapman again.

  We had a plumbing problem with a pipe and had to shut off the water. Have used a nationally known service in the past. They do good work, but are pricey. Thought to search online for what seemed more local and in business for several years. Also 24 hour service? (don't advertise it if you don't) It was evening and all had automated service. First one left info waited little over hour, no reply. Contacted another, send info request online since info request over phone with first did not get a reply. Reply popped up would hear from them shortly. I never heard from either one. The second one now sends popup ads, no thanks for nothing. Then called Chapman. Automated, but set me up with appointment the next day. Help from a neighbor I wasn't worried about overnight by now. I did call next morning to make sure I did have an appointment. Yes, I was the first one. Michael and Alex were there not too much later. Were very polite and professional. Michael very informative explaining repair in older home. Alex did the work in the crawlspace. Everything seems excellent in less than an hour. I know plumbing work is not inexpensive. So, I think the price was reasonable $473 work + $99 service fee. Service fee added to work done I think is a thing of the past. I do feel I would call Chapman again.

  Ryan from Chapman inspected our sump pump system after alarms had been going off indicating problems with the battery and/or pump. He was not only great in determining where the problem was, but he was fantastic about explaining exactly how the system worked and what was wrong and what needed to be done to fix it. He also answered some additional questions for me that left me much better informed about how to care for our plumbing and what warning signs we should watch out for. We also use Chapman to service our HVAC systems, and we have always been extremely satisfied with the service and care we’ve received. Today was also an exceptional experience. I highly recommend Chapman and plan to continue calling them when we need service.

  We were told we would need a new heat exchanger or a new furnace during our bi-annual service by another company. I called Chapman and they set up a no charge second opinion opportunity the afternoon that I called. Earl arrived right on time and did a much more thorough inspection than our maintenance company. What they thought were cracks Earl was able to get more light and better pictures on and could clearly show there were no cracks. Earl kept me well informed and involved during his visit and pointed out several angles and explained how the other company could have been mistaken. I was very impressed that Earl and Chapman Heating did not take advantage of my limited knowledge and experience to try and sell me something I didn't need. Maybe even more impressive is Earl didn't bad mouth the other company and showed grace to them in pointing out why they could have been mistaken. We will call Chapman for our future furnace needs.

  I contacted Chapman Plumbing for a sump pump drainage issue and paid for a diagnostic visit. They stated they couldn’t inspect the pipe due to its size and recommended replacing the entire line for ~$5,500. I then got a second opinion from Benjamin Franklin Plumbing, who successfully inspected the same line and found it was mostly fine—only a small 4–5 ft section needed repair. This was a much more accurate and cost-effective solution. I was disappointed that Chapman did not properly inspect the issue before recommending a full replacement.
