  I am going to be very transparent. We hired Barry to do a $6000 hvac job on our rental home. Came out, we thought it was fine until we sold our property. The folks we sold to had multiple issues with the "new" system he installed.

  Blue Skies/Barry put my Luxair furnace in my 998 ft.² home October 2024. I paid $8078 upfront in a check to him before he did any work, yes that was stupid. He came back he put the furnace in, I paid for all new ductwork which to this day has still not been finished. He did not put the cold air return in. We still don’t have the correct thermostat that operates the way he said it should. We are over a year later and I am basically out money because my furnace is not running efficiently. And my monthly bill at the cheapest during the winter months is $400 because of all of these problems! We don’t have all new ductwork up in our attic as of February 1st, 2026. We have a vent in the kitchen that he didn’t even hook up. And getting him to come out and do something and finish it is like pulling teeth with no pain killers! He was supposed to come out Friday and finish putting the ductwork in the attic. Conveniently someone lost heat and he had to go fix theirs, he did show up here and work for about an hour to two hours, but still didn’t get the ductwork hooked up. He then told my husband face-to-face on Friday that he would be back Saturday between 11 and 12 because he was not getting up early to finish putting the ductwork in. 2:30 Saturday afternoon my husband text him, Barry then tells him he will be there in just a little bit that he just left the north side and is heading to us. Needless to say, he never showed up, never a text message telling us he wouldn’t be here, nothing! I am frustrated beyond belief at this point in time. I text him Sunday and he said he went to a couple of other jobs on Saturday and then went home put his phone on the charger and fell asleep. He said can I come by today on Sunday, then when I tell him so I guess you’re not coming by on Sunday when it’s 4 o’clock in the afternoon because I’ve yet to see him or hear anything back from him, he says well I couldn’t finish it today anyway because I don’t have a helper. Which would be nice to know when you tell people you’re gonna finish something. My husband took off two days of work and pushed it back for his clients to be here so the Barry could finish this work. Now here we are Sunday my husband is out two days of work, I am frustrated, and we still don’t have a working efficient furnace.
