- AJAndrea JonesFeb 26, 20265.0“Don't judge a book by its cover”. Do you know how some of the best restaurants are little hidden “hole in the walls”? Well, our local Sunbelt is one of those places. It may not look like much from the outside (and the inside could use some updates) but…. The customer service is wonderful! I had some questions on some different equipment to make some repairs around the farm and Michael was so helpful with his knowledge of what I should use and what they had in stock. He knew what questions to ask me so I got exactly what I needed for the jobs! I really appreciate the attention to detail and the smiles and friendly service from both Michael and Niki. Any concerns I had about the whole rental process and equipment usage were explained to me and I was treated like an old friend. I should add that the equipment worked well and I had no problems with anything at all! I will Definitely be returning to the Sunbelt Rentals Fort Wayne, IN location and suggest checking into them before anywhere else for any of your rental needs. Keep up the great work!

Whoever drives the big white pick up truck needs a serious reality check! Going almost 80 in a 40 that turns into a 25, then cutting onto the SHOULDER to speed around other cars and trucks while it’s icy out in some spots almost causing a FATAL ACCIDENT! That is absolutely disgusting, disrespectful, and a disgraceful! That’s called reckless driving and you should have been turned into the police because I was one of the vehicles you almost hit! Just for this act of stupidity and complete disregard for human life I will NEVERR be using your services even if I needed them and truly hope no one else does either! SLOW DOWN! OTHER PEOPLES LIVES MATTER!

If they don’t have it locally, they always go the extra step and try and bring in from one of their other locations. It really helps when I am working out of state and all I have to do is call my local sales rep to make it happen!

What do I need to rent a tool?
All you need is your driver’s license or a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card to pay for the rental upfront. No extra deposit is required.

Is a deposit required for a reservation?
For customers without a line of credit, Sunbelt Rentals does not require a deposit to rent tools and equipment. However, you will be asked for payment information when you make your reservation. Your credit or debit card will not be charged for the rental period (one ((1)) day minimum) until you pick up the equipment.
For Credit Customers, we will secure a deposit for your reservation. This deposit will be held within your account until the rental equipment is returned and the contract closed. Apply for a credit account here.
If your project is quick and you only need the equipment for a few hours, Sunbelt Rentals does offer a Rapid Return rate. Return the equipment within four (4) hours of the pickup time and we will refund the difference of the Rapid Return rate. Rates will vary based on product. Call 800-667-9328 if you have any questions.
What if I need to keep my equipment longer?
If you need assistance, please contact the branch of the equipment rental and they can extend the rental for you. When you keep the equipment longer, we will add the additional time and charges to your contract and credit card. Please refer to the rental contract, where the day, week and 4-week rates are shown for each piece of tool and equipment.
Can I return rented equipment at any location?
Typically, equipment should be returned to the same location where you initially rented it. If you need to return it to a different location, please contact the store where you rented the equipment for guidance. It’s advisable to call ahead so we can assist you in finding a convenient alternative location for your return. Your convenience is our priority.
What is the cost for the delivery of equipment to my location?
The delivery charge is calculated based on the category and class of equipment, the location of the rental location, the distance of the project site from the rental location.
Can I get tools and equipment delivered to me?
Yes, Sunbelt Rentals offers convenient delivery options from our extensive network of locations for a reasonable fee. When making a reservation, simply select the delivery option. During the reservation process, you can specify the delivery drop-off date and time, as well as your estimated equipment pickup date. The estimate is for our planning purposes and not a final date.
To initiate our equipment pickup service, you must confirm the end of your rental via the app or by phone. Additionally, if you have specific delivery instructions or prefer a designated contact person for coordination, please include those details when submitting your reservation.
For businesses utilizing a commercial credit account, associated delivery and pickup fees will be reflected in your invoice.
To receive notifications about your delivery, adjust your settings in your account to receive reminders and updates related to your delivery and pickup.
What happens if a tool breaks or quits working while I am renting it?
Sunbelt Rentals inspects and services each piece of equipment prior to each rental and should be in good working order. If you experience problems with the tool while renting it, please go to the specific Equipment Detail page within the reservation to request service. If you need additional assistance, please contact the branch of the equipment rental and they can arrange for next steps or a replacement. If you want to have protection in the event of damage, Sunbelt Rentals offers a Rental Protection Plan (RPP), which can be purchased at the start of your rental.
What identification and payment methods are required to rent a tool from Sunbelt Rentals?
