- KHKrisi HinovaJan 29, 20262.0Todd & Mike at the local FW store are great, but corporate/the general fabrication and process for backorder floors needs some serious work. We ordered hardwood flooring that was listed online as 'order now - returning soon' in mid-December 2025 and were told to expect it sometime in January 2026. 6 weeks later we're told that the floor now actually won't be available until potentially April 2026. We are in the middle of a renovation so of course we cannot wait until April. It is unfortunate that we wasted 6 weeks waiting for a floor that wasn't ever going to come and are now back to square one. There needs to be a better process in place by corporate/the main factory for estimating when backorder floors will be made available so people aren't wasting their time and putting their projects on hold for weeks on end waiting. Local guys are doing what they can with the info they are given.
