  Classic Floors was recommended to us by two area flooring businesses because we could not find a color of hardwood flooring to match our dining room woodwork. The owner of one business stated that the owner of Classic Floors is the best in Fort Wayne. Classic Floors removed the dining room carpet and the 1927 oak flooring. They installed a white oak floor, sanded it, and stained it. A beautiful transition inlay was also placed at the entrance to the dining room. In addition, we had them take off the carpet on the stairway, sand the steps, refinish them, and fill any nail or staple holes. The lead person of the crew that did our work was a master at tweaking the color of the wood stain, an uncommon talent. The new matched the old perfectly. The crew was a VERY hard-working team. Everything this company said would happen, did happen when they said it would. This company is so conscientious, helpful, and dependable.

  Have used them in the past. Very professional, let you test/practice equipment in store (with them giving advice/guidance) and the finish has held up on my original wood floors amazingly this past 4 years.

  Classic Floors has been in business for over 30 years and that is an UNDERSTATEMENT! Very knowledgeable, helpful, selfless, professional, business and family oriented. I have been doing business with Classic Floors for around 3 years now and they have been nothing but great in all areas. If anyone is willing to turn down business because of liability and health risks than that just proves the level of knowledge and professionalism and is no reason to leave bad reviews. I give 5 stars only because there wasn't 6!!

  Very poor service. At the initial appt, the OWNER did not arrive on time. After almost half an hour, I called to see what happened. He said he'd written down the wrong time. After looking at the work area, he said he'd get an estimate to me that evening. When I didn't receive it, I called the next day and the receptionist said she didn't know why he'd said that because he was in a meeting that day and wouldn't even get her the paperwork until the following day. After almost THREE WEEKS of waiting and hearing NOTHING at all from them, I called to find out what the estimate was. They then told me they would be unable to do the work because the house was built before 1975. Would never call them for anything!
