Frank was polite and prompt and patient. He explained in detail what my plumbing issues were, performed sewer rodding and put everything back together in less than an hour. He also suggested ways I could do preventative care. He was very clean and professional. I held back one star because it was much more expensive than previous sewer rodding by over $150 even with a discount.

I can't say enough good about our experience with Joey! He was kind, respectful, patient, professional and extremely thoughtful and pragmatic. We had a challenging decision to make about our incorrectly installed exhaust and tankless water heater. He patiently talked us through options, pros and cons, but ultimately gave us options that took our limited budget into consideration. With gratitude, Kari

Jose Montoya of Goode Plumbing did an excellent job of repairing and installing several parts of our kitchen sink plumbing! The work included changing three feed valves, installing new drain pipes and traps and replacing the faucet. In my 38 years as a homeowner, Jose is one of the best tradesman that I have had work in may home. I would recommend him with confidence. I would definitely hire him again to do additional work in my home.

I contacted Goode Plumbing for an assessment of a blockage in the bathtub drain in my condo unit, to confirm a shared connection between units causing recurring backflow and standing water. The building's maintenance engineer had previously mentioned this faulty installation when the building was converted and renovated. A very polite young man (Frank) arrived promptly and quickly diagnosed the problem, confirming the issue with the shared connection between units. He was very knowledgeable and explained how to first remedy the situation and what would be necessary to disconnect the shared pipes. He asked to go outside to prepare an estimate, saying it was company policy, and within a few minutes presented it and immediately sent it to my email. I haven't hired them yet because I need approval from the condo association, but based on the good impression I had during the initial contact, they are currently at the top of my list to be hired for the service.

I own a 4-flat in Chicago and live in one of the units. There was an intermittent leak in the basement ceiling under the bathrooms on one side. It got worse, so I contacted Goode Plumbing. On the day of the appointment the tech contacted me about a half hour before coming to building. Jacob arrived as expected and we went to the basement to look at the leak. He turned off two supply lines via ball valves and looked for changes. We then went to the first floor and then second floor bathrooms. The second floor apartment is vacant. After some discussion, I removed the sink and vanity in the second floor bathroom. I cut a rectangular opening with a drywall jab saw under the hot water supply line. No leaks visible. Repeated for cold water line. There seemed to be a leak there. I cut a bigger opening so the area was exposed. Leak was at the connection of a copper line to the original vertical galvanized pipe via brass adapter. That supply line ran to the toilet next to the sink and was made during a bathroom remodel ~2017. Hard to imagine the path the water was taking from there to the spot in the basement ceiling 12 feet below and a couple of feet south! Jacob gave me the price for repair. I signed the contract using an app on his phone. We turned off the water supply to the building and drained pipes by opening faucets in a few places. Jacob cut the copper pipe and removed from there to the vertical pipe. He then installed a new brass adapter and sweated replacement copper pipe pieces to replace what had been removed. We closed open faucets and turned the water supply back on. Fix seemed to be good. Jacob ran water through the sink supply lines to let sediments flush out. We watched the ceiling in the basement for a while and did not see further drips. Jacob cleaned up the work area. I paid the agreed amount. I checked the basement ceiling a few days later. Area is dry. Overall a very positive experience.
