- RLRock LandDec 28, 20255.0So the pilot light On my (53 year old) furnace went out Dec 18th. I got it to light again but it went out after 5 minutes. After several futile attempts I started calling HVAC services. It was around 9 PM. The first place I called was the closest, but i got a recording, I didn't wait, but they never called back. Then I called Residential Heating and Cooling. Eric answered the phone and identified himself as the owner! He said he could send a Tech out that night! About an hour later A Tech named Kyle Showed up. After checking out the furnace, he confirmed my furnace fears. It was broken and parts for it were not available. This news did not surprise me. Kyle spoke to Eric and told me they could install a new furnace the next day! Ryan from Residential Heating and Cooling came the next morning and started to remove the old furnace and duct work. He went to lunch, and said he would come back with the furnace. Kyle came back with a new furnace and started the insulation. A Tech named Miguel (who I was told was a installation master) came over with a helper who didn't stay long. Miguel proved to be a talented craftsman. He rerouted the gas line, and made new duct work, to fit the new furnace. He also put a brace on some of the larger duct work to eliminate a "booming" sound that happened when the fan turned off. Both Ryan and Miguel, listened to my concerns, and worked to accommodate me. So around 5:30 PM on December 19th (less than 24 hours after my late night call) I had a new furnace.

So the crew came out next day and are working on the new install. Professional team is very thorough and so far can't wait to turn on my new furnace and see how it goes. Nice crew like Kyle, Miguel and Joseph. Thanks!
