He was knowledgeable, polite and friendly. I have used Ray's for many years and will continue to do so.
- SMSusanne MedinaOct 18, 20251.0I have used Ray's for service in the past, and this seems shady. I had Rays come out to do a check on my air conditioner 10/17. It has been working like a champ but I couldn't remember when a check was last done. It is an older unit and still uses R22. My air handler is in the attic and I waited until it was cooler outside because I didn't know if looking at the air handler was part of the service. They came out and said my R22 was low and I needed a new system because they are not making that refrigerant anymore. Didn't go into the attic to physically look at that part of the system. Only took pictures from the attic entrance because the person coming to give me a quote on a new system probably wouldn't be able to access this area. In making calls for installation companies, I talked to an honest service tech. They have the coolant on hand for these older units and said you cannot accurately get readings on how much refrigerant there is when the weather is colder and most likely every thing is fine since it worked well all summer.
