  After months of inaction by a previous contractor, I contacted BluSky and was thrilled by the great service. Worked well with insurance, did constant communications on funding, preparations and work. Final result was actually better than new! I feel so lucky I found such a good reliable repair contractor. Highly recommend.

  I had significant water damage in my condo from a broken drain system. My insurance adjustor recommended BluSky as it required extensive mediation and repair. It was a long and stressful rebuild, however, the finished project is outstanding. Sinead Kavanagh was the supervisor assigned to my rebuild and she was wonderful to work with. She communicated with me frequently and kept me honestly aware of the schedule. The crews she had completing the work were first rate and they were hard working, pleasant and did excellent work. And even shared with me, they enjoyed working for her. It was a pleasure working with Sinead and she made a very difficult situation easier to cope wtih and I am delighted with my new beautiful kitchen and flooring.

  We couldn’t be happier with the restoration work done on our home! From start to finish, the entire team was professional, responsive, and incredibly detail-oriented. Dave walked us through every step of the process, answered all our questions, and made what could have been a stressful situation feel completely manageable especially with time to be able to have our house back to normal. Dave also worked with me when it came to finishing choices to ensure colors and flooring was to our liking. Would definitely contact and recommend Blusky contractors again!

  Overall, my experience with Bluesky was excellent. The circumstances of my using them weren’t great, as is probably the case for most people. I had to undergo mold remediation and renovation of my condo over the course of four months. The project started with them moving me out of my condo on September 30. They moved my things back in the week of Thanksgiving, and I moved back in on December 1. The final touches were finished on January 29. There were some delays that were largely out of BluSky’s control; for example, the sink manufacturer sending us the wrong sink twice in a row. From the beginning of the process through the end, however, the communication with the various representatives was professional and detailed. My design manager was Sinead, who was fantastic. She, in my opinion, went above and beyond because she responded to me and called me and answered my questions late into the evening, early in the morning and on the weekend and on the holidays. And while I hate asking people to do work on what should be their day off, Sinead worked whenever it was necessary. She also gave me fantastic ideas for the design of my condo, which I did not expect to be so overwhelming. She helped me simplify the process and narrow down the choices to something that I would be happy with, but that wouldn’t be too specific to me in case I ever decide to sell my place. She also advocated for me when things were not going as planned, and she made sure that the sink mixup with the manufacturer resulted in me getting the sink at no cost. The project manager for my remediation was Nina. Nina was the first person that I met from Bluesky. She did the mold assessment and walked me through what the process was going to be. She answered all of my questions and she was very patient with the number of questions that I had, which was a lot. She also assisted me with communications with our condo insurance Provider. With respect to the initial estimated cost versus what I ended up paying, it’s definitely more expensive than I anticipated. However, a significant portion of that was my design choices, and the fact that I live in an old building and once you start taking down walls and pulling up flooring in an old building that has water damage, it’s not uncommon to find worse conditions than what you expected. So I understood all of that. There were a couple of things that needed to be fixed after they moved me back in, including the drawers in my bed, which were off track. So Sinead contacted the contents team manager and that person, Michele, came over and assess what was wrong and made sure that it got fixed. Projects like this are incredibly stressful and even considering the stress of living in a hotel for two months and being away from my pets for almost three months, it would have been even more stressful without the professionalism of Nina and Sinead.
