I always use Roto Rooter for any service they can help with. I have used them on multiple occasions for my rentals in the Rockford area. Everyone has been extremely helpful and informative and I have always paid less than I expected a repair to cost. I truly appreciate the fast and reliable service. Also thank you to Wilson for the most recent repair! Outstanding service, thank you!

They were quick to respond. They did not clear our line leaving roots and we had to call someone else for a second opinion on the sewer line repair they said we needed for over $7k. The second plumber came out cleared the roots and new clog forming 4 days later. He did not see the damage Roto Rooter said was there. We were told they would return the money we paid but it has been 4 weeks and nothing.
Excellent service. They arrived an hour from when I called. Toilet was spraying water and they fixed it immediately. And the two guys could not have been nicer. I highly recommend this company. They will not try to screw you over.
Alik and Noah came out for an emergency main line backed up in one of my buildings. I was impressed with their professionalism, knowledge, and prompt arrival time. They got the main line jetted and took extra care working in the building. I will definitely be using this company again and recommending them for any future work I might need. Thanks again!!

Roto-Rooter does not care about finding the right answer to a problem, and they have no interest in protecting the customer or customer's house. They will try to wring every last dollar out of you, and in the end that expense could be for nothing.
I called Roto-Rooter thinking i had a plugged pipe somewhere in my sewer line going out to the septic system. They came out promptly and seemed very professional in their analysis of the issue. The tech was unable to open the clean-out point in the septic system, or the cover over the lift station, and so requested a supervisor to come out with a camera. After running the camera, they informed me I had a belly in the pipe that was preventing the water from flowing freely. The fix was to dig up the pipe and replace it with a new one. This would have required breaking up the floor of my sunroom and part of the patio outside. They quoted me $10,000 for the repair, and that wouldn't even have included putting in new flooring after the work was completed.
I called Edward's Sewer and Drain for a second opinion. Not only were they able to open the two covers Roto-Rooter apparently could not, but they quickly diagnosed the issue as a simple fuse in the pump system.
The fact that the "supervisor" for Roto-Rooter could lie straight to my face with such an extreme solution for a simple problem is unconscionable. Stay away from this company at all cost.
