My company requires all vendors to have access to our system, as that is where all job notes, updates, and documentation must be entered. I requested that they accept the work order on their end. Instead of addressing the request professionally, we received an unnecessarily rude and dismissive response stating they “do not want or need access” to our system, followed by a condescending explanation about not having a “green button to click.” There was no attempt from Taylor to collaborate, ask clarifying questions, or find a workable solution—just a refusal and an unprofessional tone. For a company that regularly works with property managers and third-party systems, this lack of cooperation and poor attitude is unacceptable. Professional service providers should be willing to follow basic job documentation requirements and communicate respectfully. This interaction reflects poorly on Roto-Rooter’s customer service standards and willingness to work with partners. I ended up cancelling the work order.
