  Got a new sliding patio door from Auburn about 2 years ago now. Have to lean with your whole body to open/close it. More petite people struggle to move it. Installer came back to look at it. Agreed it was stiff, said it would loosen up over time, sprayed some WD40 on it. Did not fix the problem. Upon further inspection there are sections of the door that are not aligned and are different heights from the trim. Not a good installation job and there is even a chip in the glass. Not impressed for the price that is charged. An expensive door like this should slide with the use of a finger, not your entire body weight. Weather stripping is also being chewed up due to the friction this door has.

  Speaking from the residential side. Scott at Auburn is the most honest and transparent person I have ever dealt with in the home improvement industry. Finding a company that values integrity and customer satisfaction is much harder than figuring out the exact product that suits your needs. Calling Scott at Auburn will be more than half the battle. He assisted me in replacing my front door(proVia), rear sliding patio doors(Marvin), and my windows(Marvin Ultimate). I had him quote my windows on more than one occassion due to unforseen financial situations that prolonged the project. His patience with my family throughout this time was incredible. He doesn’t subscribe to any sleezy sales tactics what so ever. Scott will certainly encourage you to talk to other salespeople. Considering windows and doors will likely be your biggest home expense, doing so is expected. Truth is, you can call Renewal and all the big name window companies, but I did all that hard work for you already. I still went with Auburn every time. Their price was incredibly fair and you will never feel disconnected throughout the entire process. It’s really an easy decision.

  I have been wanting a new front door since the day we bought our house. Scott made the process painless and easy!! He came over to my house and helped me pick out everything from the glass to the lock to ensure the door would be exactly what I was looking for! The door has completely changed the look of my house and I absolutely love it!! I would highly suggest Auburn Corporation to anyone looking to buy a new front door!

  Auburn replaced all of my Chicago townhome's failing 20 year old wood windows with Marvin aluminum clad windows. It was not an easy job because it is four stories high. The work was done on time, on budget, and very professionally. I would not hesitate to use them again.

  I like everything about this business. They are trustworthy, efficient, punctual, and honest. They offer great ideas on converting old windows to new and are reasonable. I strongly recommend them!
