  Platinum Decking designed and replaced my old wooden deck with a beautiful new composite deck and cable railing. They were professional, responsive and kept a clean work site. And the deck looks amazing.

  We used Platinum Decking to remodel/refurbish our aging wood deck. The existing substructure was sound, so the scope of work included new Trex Transcend decking, new railings all around, and two new sets of stairs on a fairly large, multi-level deck. I spoke with a number of different companies, and found Platinum Decking to be responsive, very professional, reasonably priced, and with a reputation for producing top quality Trex decks. They did not disappoint. RIght from the start, Breanna, our sales rep, was extremely helpful. She presented clear options, gave us sound advice, and was willing to track down the answers to my many questions. Rob, the general manager and field supervisor, is one of the most accommodating people I've ever worked with. He was a wealth of knowledge, providing insightful suggestions, addressing any concerns I had, and coordinating the overall project. Our construction team, Dan & Shawn, worked tirelessly despite many days of cold, rainy weather, to produce a beautiful deck. I appreciate their skill, pleasant demeanor, and desire to do the best job possible. As the project neared completion, Tom, the owner, came by to personally ensure things were done to my satisfaction, and he even helped the guys clean up the site. One last observation ... in my early conversation with Breanna, she commented that Platinum Decking is committed to not "nickel and dime-ing" their customers if something comes up along the way that wasn't anticipated at the start. That's easy enough to say, but this company made good beyond my expectations. As the project was nearing completion, I was doing some reading and learned that Trex has metal railing inserts/stiffeners that are commonly used in commercial or high elevation decks. My deck was neither, but I thought it would be helpful to use them on the railings for the stairs--just to help ensure no sagging, etc. I asked Rob about it and, having done my homework, suggested that I would be fine with such-and-such an additional charge. In the end, they installed the stiffeners per my request, and Rob said that they'd decided to just include that as part of the original price. I'd say they went beyond making good on their word! We had a graduation reception recently for one of my kids, and I think my neighbors love the look of our new deck as much as we do. :-) If you need a company to install a high quality, composite deck, I would definitely consider Platinum Decking.   Platinum Decking exceeded my expectations! I had an old, ugly cedar deck and Platinum rebuilt with a beautiful maintenance free Trex deck that is better than I even envisioned. Now, I have a wonderful outdoor area to enjoy. I have already received so many compliments. It makes my entire home feel renewed! I wish I would have done it sooner! Every detail was tended to. Truthfully, it’s so difficult to choose the right contractor for big jobs. My team lead ,Josh, was fantastic! Josh and Tony were so talented and polite it was a pleasure to have them around. Robert, Breanna, and RobRob were also great with help in their areas of expertise. When researching, I really didn’t know how any company could get all 5 star reviews that Platinum had…now I know! Platinum is a great company, with great people working to give you a great experience. Highly recommend.

  Platinum Decking rebuilt an existing deck for us, using Trex products. The job was done on time, on budget, and at a reasonable price. The craftspeople assigned to our job were highly skilled, careful in their work, and kept the worksite well organized. Tom Ackmann was excellent to work with from start to finish. We are absolutely pleased with every aspect of this job, and would recommend this honest group of people to anyone looking for deck work.

  I had the pleasure of working together with Matt R. on a number of construction projects starting way back in 2013. He always ensured the highest quality and standards for each and every project! I did not understand the true value of and appreciation for his guidelines until I became a home owner myself, and learned how hard it can be to find great contractors!! A new deck is so much easier to enjoy when you know the hard work and good character that went into creating it. I'd recommend Platinum Decking to anyone who appreciates high quality, good character, and hard workers!!
