  Great experience with Bill's Garage Door Service this week. Started collecting estimates on Monday, they varied widely and Bill's was not only the lowest cost, they offered a name brand (LiftMaster) system, with remotes and a keypad - the other service providers were quoting band-aid repairs or partial system replacement vs full updated replacement. As Bill Jr said when teaching me how to use all the new features of my garage, I've entered the 21st century. :P THANK YOU, Bill & Bill Jr.! I appreciate your integrity and skill very much.

  Called Bill’s to adjust garage doors. They quoted a reasonable price over the phone and came out the next day. Bill was professional and definitely an expert. Pleasant fellow, too, as he was whistling while he worked. Sounds corny but great to see someone happy doing his work. Did a great job and took a few extra minutes to walk me through programming the keypads and remotes. Will enthusiastically recommend Bill.

  I had a very sketchy experience with this company. I called for a repair on my garage door on July 9. They did respond in about 90 minutes. Worker was in a plain truck, no ID badge, no uniform. Told me immediately it would cost me $1120 without even looking at door. Job took 20 minutes to repair — no parts needed. Even used MY can of WD-40 to lubricate the rollers. When I went to pay, he told me “No Check”. Their website CLEARLY shows that checks are accepted. Then, I asked about 15% discount for new customers of first repair (stated CLEARLY in website). Claims that is not offered. I brought credit card out. Was told company charges 5% fee for credit cards (which is NOT divulged on website). I questioned that as Visa and other major cards are generally around a 3% fee. He said company has to make profit on using a credit card. Finally, he begged me to use ZELLE. However, when he sent Zelle request, it was NOT from Bill’s Garage Door Service. It was actually from ANGER,LLC. I called company 2 weeks ago. Was told they have a record of my request for service, but they do not show any service done nor any payment received. Said they would have manager call. 2 weeks later, I received NO RESPONSE. Called again today. Would NOT confirm that they are actually located in Spartanburg SC as their website indicates. Would not tell me address. Said she would have to talk to manager, but I had to wait for a manager to call me. I asked for a copy of an itemized invoice. Said they did not provide such. Manager did call, but the more questions I asked, the sketchier the business sounds. Said I was talking to a call center, but employees are told to lie and say there are IN Spartanburg SC. Company actually owned out of California. This guy’s phone number is from Kissimmee FL. “Local” Spartanburg number is in Myrtle Beach SC — 200 miles from Spartanburg. I do NOT recommend that ANYONE should do ANY business with this company! Too many lies told. I will NEVER use them again. I believe it is a scam, although I did get door repaired in less than 20 minutes with no parts needed to the tune of $1,120.

  The Bills did an incredible job for us. We replaced our garage door through them. Our new garage door looks great and operates great. Truly appreciate their kindness, service and expertise. I highly recommend these guys, they are awesome local business owners. Thank you, Bill and Bill!
