- EKEmmett KleinMar 4, 20221.0I would not buy anything from Illinois truck an equipment In Dec of 2020 I bought a 2018 sk55 kobelco excavator from Kenny with 3 buckets and a thumb for 51000 and Kenny said if I give 1500 for delivery since I live out of state I would not pay sales tax so I bought it and the machine came in and I had to wait on thumb . First time I went out to use machine it would not start sent text to Kenny no reply then a couple weeks later thumb came in made wrong called Kenny he sent truck to pick it up then had another thumb made he calls me to tell me he needs another 350 for thumb delivery i paid again . Then probably 8 months later he sends letter I owe the sales tax I called him and said I don't pay sales tax on equipment In ohio under farm use so next thing I get is a private eye threatening me then a lawyer demanding the tax amount so I paid the tax over a year later after purchase of machine What a bunch of crooks
