  No, just no! When we arrived home on a Saturday night after being out of town for several weeks, we discovered there was no water to the house as there had been a recent hard freeze. When our trusted plumber wasn’t immediately available, we called Baker Plumbing, who sent someone. We explained our situation and expressed we were also interested in upgrading old pipes to avoid future problems. After spending a few minutes looking at the burst pipe and a LOT of time calculating in his truck, Baker’s rep presented 26 pages of detailed printed agreements/proposals with options to spend anywhere from a basic $16,500—$27,600 to upgrade, including new water heater, filtration, track-hoe work, and reseeding the lawn, but no option to repair the pipe immediately. He thought it wasn’t worth it! Prices could be reduced some if I joined Club Plumb for an annual fee for 5 years. A bit excessive for a 1300 square foot house with 1 toilet.

  Thanks Baker & Sons for the excellent response and water heater replacement. Technician responded in an hour and by 4:30 removed old heater, was able to respond in an hour and had us back in service before 4:00 p.m. Thanks Alex for a great removal and installation of a new unit!.

  Andrew has already been an immense help in getting things going to take on our current plumbing nightmare. Pretty much replacing all the plumbing in our home from the street on. He is very easy to talk to, explained everything very clearly, showed us what he was talking about and was very thorough. Will post before and after pictures when everything is finished!

  Baker & Sons is extremely professional and provides excellent service at every step. I have used them multiple times and the process is effortless. They answer your call and get you scheduled promptly. The specialist that comes to your home is completely thorough and takes pictures to explain what your issue is and gives you options of how you would like to proceed. The most recent specialist that I’ve dealt with is JP. We were very comfortable with him and he took his time to answer all our questions and come up with a solution that works best for us. He is definitely an asset to the company!

  We ordered the 4’ x 6’ FamilySAFE Shelter from Baker and Sons Plumbing in Marion Illinois. Hunter came out initially and measured and verified the site installation and we placed our order with Melissa. We’re told this was the first install of this season. Hunter and Robyn were on time and completed the delivery and installation in less than two hours and did a wonderful job. The addition of an LED light inside was a nice surprise. Hopefully we never need to use the shelter but now we know we have a safe place for our family and pets if needed. I highly recommend this team.
