  My rating has nothing to do with the quality of work, but rather the poor customer service. I submitted a request online to get a quote for roof replacement. Two days later (on a Wednesday) I was contacted by Robert by phone to schedule an appointment, which we set up for 9:00AM the following Monday. The technician Kevin McWilliams did not arrive at the scheduled 9:00 time, and at 11:00AM I called to see where he was. He said he had an urgent customer issue to deal with (which I could understand) and asked if we could reschedule to 3:00, but he should have called way before then to let us know that he would be delayed. We agreed and he arrived at that time. We looked at the roof and I specified several things that I would like to have included. I asked if he needed to go up on the roof and he said that he already had aerial photos. I expected him to take a couple of photos or look closer at the roof. We went in the house to wait for him to come back and let us know that he was done, or to discuss some specifics. I looked out the window 5 minutes later and his truck was gone. We spoke for maybe 10 minutes in total. I thought it was a very incomplete roof review. He had said that he would get the quote to us later that evening (Monday night). That did not happen. As of this writing (Thursday), I still have not received the quote. As I had also lined up two other roofers for quotes (and received them, with follow up), I will be choosing one of them to complete my roof replacement. I chose Davis for a quote based on the overall satisfaction ratings on Google. They may very well be an excellent company that does great work, but I cannot attest to that since they will not be doing my home. I can only speak to the poor communication and lack of response in providing a quote for my roof.

  Davis Roofing replaced my roof and siding. They did an amazing job! Jeff and John explained what I should expect during the installation and helped me every step of the way. It went very smoothly.

  Jon Walsh, President of Davis Roofing is an honest and ethical man....i am "old school" where a mans' word is his bond..Jon is like that as well...he has imparted those values onto his staff as well...plus the company does good work [installed a roof on my house in Burr Ridge] would highly recommend using Davis Roofing.
