    We returned home on 11/21/25 PM from short trip and noticed that our furnace was not working, inside temp of our home was 48 degrees. We called Top Tec, 24 Hour Service, and they arrived shortly after we contacted them. Top Tec Technician, Mike Murphy, was able to determine that our Lennox digital thermostat was not working properly and advised us that it needed to be replaced. He informed us that he did not have the Lennox replacement thermostat in his service van but could use another thermostat to act as a short-term replacement/fix. Mike had already talked to a Top Tec manager to confirm that they had a replacement unit in their warehouse. Mike stated that Top Tec would call and coordinate the replacement of the Lennox digital thermostat on 11/22/25, Saturday. Mike installed the short-term replacement thermostat, and the inside temp of our house shortly went from 48 degrees to a very comfortable 68, allowing us to get a good night sleep. During the service call Mike was extremely knowledgeable and was able to quickly identify the problem. In addition, he was extremely polite and courteous. We have been Top Tec clients for over 15 years and have had great service from them. Over the 15-year period, Top Tec has replaced our furnace, hot water heater, and air conditioning unit. We are members of their annual service/maintenance program related to furnace, air-conditioning and hot water heater. We have always been very pleased with their service, knowledge, and product offering. Many thanks to Top Tech and Mike Murphy for the late-night service to allow us to return home from our trip and get a good night sleep!!!

    Frankie, the service technician, was an amazing experience! He was on time, very thorough and took the time to explain everything and answer all my questions regarding my furnace tune up. I also really appreciated that he did not try to upsell me on services nor products that I did not need. He was trustworthy and respectful. Wore shoe covers and cleaned up the space. Would highly recommend Frankie. Super knowledgeable!

    Dan and Robert arrived during the window of time and got right to work. Robert was instructing Dan while they both checked out my furnace to ensure it was in proper working order. Very thorough! Answered my questions and I have peace of mind knowing I'll stay warm this winter. Thank you.

    I had a problem with 3 frost valves that did shut off properly. The service rep, Brian, met me at as agreed to and spent the next hour diagnosing the problem. He then produced an estimate, and we agreed to have the valves replaced on another date. On the agreed to date, Brain arrived promptly with another individual and proceeded to replace the valves. For the next 3+ hours they worked diligently to complete the repairs. Whenever they entered the building, they covered their shoes with covers so as not track any material in the house. Every area they worked in was cleaned of any debris from their work. Additionally, the repairs were not only done but done better than what was done previously. He rates a 5 STAR rating as far as I'm concerned.

    Instead of fixing the issue (clogged pressure switch) the tech lied to me about bad heat exchanger (visual inspection) and quoted me en exorbitant amount to replace our system. Next day I had an actual tech and a decent human being come and take care of our furnace, and do a combustion test to verify proper combustion. Instrument read 0.0ppm of CO (carbon monoxide). Folks, please be very careful with this company and HVAC companies in general. These people are highly trained to rob you blind. If you have an older system, or you’re a nice old lady, these people will try to scam you. TopScam should be the name of the company. Wish I could give them negative 5 stars. There are probably enough victims for a class action suit. There is just no way all these “reviews” are genuine. Just read some of them. Nobody in their right mind can possibly write en ecstatic review about getting ripped off. Remember, if your tech sounds more like a salesman or a politician, that’s a major red flag.
