"Your home is a place where you and your family should be able to relax and feel completely comfortable and secure. At Tri-State Water, Power, and Air, we offer a full suite of home enhancements that help homeowners do exactly that. Not only do we install safety upgrades, such as standby generators and safe rooms to protect families during a disaster, but we also provide products designed to improve the quality of the most essential resource in our customers’ homes – their water. For example, we can install a water treatment system in your home to eliminate hard water. You’ll notice the difference almost immediately after your water softener is installed, as you’ll enjoy pure, fresh-tasting drinking water straight from the tap."
Their salesman Scott came to our home and immediately began deflecting direct questions I asked. I inquired about remote monitoring and how it worked (i.e. app on my phone) only to get an insult "well the power will be out, how will wifi work". I'm asking about a generator, won't it will power my home and the wifi? He then began to ask if I knew a member of the 1990s chicago bulls...deflect, don't answer.
He didn't perform a true analysis of the energy needs, just an estimate off the cuff. He then told me it was $20k for the unit but it was actually $17.9k but if I agreed to buy before midnight, only $16.5k. And I already told him I was looking for a quote, not to purchase right away and that I don't respond to high pressure tactics at all. Showed him out at that point. A true self centered know it all. Won't buy anything from him or Tri State.
Contacted Four Seasons, slightly smaller unit was needed AFTER an actual assessment, costs only $12k. Professional, curious service. I'd recommend 4 Seasons to anyone.
Yeah, to hell with Tri-State.

I made the mistake of making a casual inquiry about their generator service. First they peppered me with 18 questions (not an exaggeration) until I finally said that I was no longer interested. Since then they have called me at least twice every day (some days 3 or 4 times). This has been going on for almost 3 weeks! I'm going to contact the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General to see what I have to do to stop yhe harassment.
PAY ATTENTION TO ALL OF THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS ABOUT THIS OUTFIT - YOU'LL SAVE YOURSELF A TON OF AGGRAVATION IF YOU NEVER CONTACT THEM.
