  Anthony is the nicest, friendliest service tech we have ever encountered. We have used carefree comfort for years and have been pleased with the level of customer service, honesty and great techs.

  After a bi- yearly maintenance appointment on one of my furnaces (4months old) I was told I needed a replacement part. No one ever explained to me what needed to be replaced. After several weeks went by, I called Carefree Comfort to say when are you going to replace the part that Nick told me was broken? Miraculously the part came in a few days later and Nick came to replace the part the following week. Once here at my home Nick determines that another part wasn’t working and that needs to be replaced as well, but this time he has that part on his truck already. I agreed to the two replacement parts. Neither one of these parts were covered by my warranty. Before I let Nick get started with the repairs that morning I had him explain to my handyman exactly what needed to be replaced and why the repairs were necessary. After this explanation, my handyman told me, “I think you should start to look for a new company to maintain your air conditioners and furnaces”. He stated, I don’t think that they’re being honest with you. I gave Carefree Comfort the benefit of the doubt that day. A few hours later, I realized that my hot water was not working. Unfortunately, Carefree Comfort was closed at this point in the evening. I left a message on the companies voicemail and then I called the emergency number and spoke to Nick and he said that it sounds like air got into the line. He said that he would let the dispatcher or Dominick know in the morning about my issue. At approximately 10am I still had not heard from anyone from Carefree Comfort. I called and spoke to the woman on the phone and she said they would be sending somebody out in a couple of hours. Nick arrived to clear the air in the line. It took him a couple of hours most of which he spent on the phone with Rob the owner having him tell him exactly what he needed to do to fix the air in the line. Nick then informed me that I have another broken part. This time it is a leaky release valve that was dripping and he hadn’t noticed it during the maintenance appointment. Nick said he needs to go back to Carefree Comfort and have them order this additional part. I was then given $185 bill to clear the air out of the line so that I could have hot water again. I think this TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE and absolutely outrageous since my hot water was working just fine before the parts were replaced. My hot water wasn’t working because of the repairs that were made which created air in the line. I called Carefree Comfort and was told by Rob that I have a very “complicated system”. If that’s true and Carefree Comfort has been working in my house for years well before I even owned it, why would he continue to send an inexperienced technician. When Sergio worked at Carefree Comfort I never had an issue. He always answered my questions and was very trustworthy and knowledgeable. As a female homeowner, I no longer trust Carefree Comfort to do right by me.
