  In 2019, Energy Home came out to spray the exterior of our block home between furring strips 1.5” thick to meet code. This was after 3 cancelled dates, none of which involved rain or weather issues. They then came out late one morning, unannounced, and didn’t leave until late in the evening (as in 8:30pm), which was highly unprofessional. After leaving a mess of spray foam on our brand new soffit and fascia, we called them out on not spraying the quoted 1.5” of foam, but rather .75” they sprayed. The manager of the division came out to inspect and said “It’ll expand over the next few days.” I waited one week and took pictures in day 1 and 7 to prove that was a lie. We were then told it would be fine and the county would still sign off on the permit because they don’t really measure (yeah, like I would believe that…). I then had them come out to scrape their mess which they were reluctant to do because we were told that is a by-product of the process. Uh, no, that’s a by-product of someone that doesn’t know what they’re doing and hadn’t been properly trained. They were quoted to do all of our insulation, but after that little fiasco, I took the rest of the work to their competitor, Home Comfort, whose price was a bit more, but the work was fast and clean. Stay far away from Energy Home and go back to Home Comfort— the little extra you’ll pay is worth not having this joke of a company cause you headaches!

  They took longer than quoted to finish the job. Left my house a mess. Put more holes on the outside than necessary. Had to make them caulk the plugs on the outside of the house. They sprayed foam on personal belongings. Stood on an appliance and broke it. Ruined furniture. Lied about not having tools to do the job so they could bail for the day. Was told my lower energy bills should compensate for my trouble and ruined property. Took months to get done and get resolved. Never again.

  After being scheduled out past a month, I was ready for my appointment tomorrow morning for what is for some reason two days of work. I was called this morning and they stated they had to schedule it an extra week out. They did not politely ask. They told me. And didn't even give me 24 hours of notice. It is already past the 30 day limit imposed by Ameren. They have been a nightmare to work with and I will NEVER recommend them to anyone.
