We were quoted $79 for a diagnostic inspection, but when the plumber arrived, we were told it would be $240 for a visit that lasted about five minutes. My wife was the only one home at the time, and the sudden price change felt misleading. Honest, upfront pricing matters — and this experience did not reflect that.
- RGRyan GagalaMay 19, 20252.0We called to have the sewer line rodded out. The plumber worked hard for a few hours on the emergency call, but was unable to remove the roots. He had a four inch cutter for a six inch pipe which just did not clear the line. The city recommended another company. The second company cleared the line in about 20 minutes. Jay’s discounted the bill by $400 which roughly covered the $453 the other company charged. Still, paying over $1000 for an incomplete job is not satisfactory.
