I had an old HVAC system that was beginning to show signs of wear. The owner of the company was quick to respond and had a team out within days to service and evaluate/diagnose the current system. Bottom line was it was time to get everything replaced. Owner provided me multiple system options and price points. But more than that he went into full detail about the needs of my condo specifically - square footage, high ceilings, top floor etc. I felt confident in the decision I made in regards to the system I chose. The day of installation a 2 man team came at the scheduled time. They were both professional and efficient and kept me updated throughout the process. Very happy with my HVAC system. Would highly recommend WeatherGuard to anyone!
Frequently Asked Questions About WeatherGuard HVAC
How often should I service my HVAC unit?
Your HVAC system requires annual maintenance, much like your car needs regular oil changes. However, unlike vehicles, HVAC systems don't have warning lights for potential issues. Regular servicing is crucial as it can help reduce energy costs, prevent costly repairs, and maintain warranty validity where applicable. This is especially important for older HVAC systems, which are more prone to problems.
How much will my HVAC service cost?
The cost of HVAC services can vary depending on several factors. At WeatherGuard Heating & Air Conditioning, we design custom systems to suit your family's specific needs and home requirements. Our primary goal is to act in your best interest. We'll perform repairs when possible, or suggest system replacement if it's a safer long-term solution. As each project is unique, we encourage you to reach out to us for more specific information and pricing details.
What are the most common furnace problems?
If your furnace stops working, there are a few initial steps you can take. First, check if your thermostat is working correctly and doesn't need new batteries. Then, examine your air filter for any blockages and ensure you're using the right type of filter for your system. Consider when you last changed the filter. If these steps don't resolve the issue, we recommend contacting a WeatherGuard expert, and one of our technicians will provide further assistance.
How often should I replace my HVAC filter?
Regular filter replacement is essential for maximizing your system's lifespan. However, the recommended frequency can differ based on the specific equipment and filter size. For personalized advice tailored to your system, we invite you to contact WeatherGuard. Our team will be pleased to offer complimentary guidance over the phone.
