  I hired MK to revitalize a vacant storefront into what is now New Sound Cafe and they did an amazing job. Greg is a boss, always responsive, and he delivered exactly what we asked for on time and on budget. I've worked with multiple contractors over the years on a variety of residential and commercial projects, and MK was by far the best experience I've had to date. Even after paying the final invoice, they have been responsive to fixing small details that have needed attention. I would highly recommend checking them out!

  We hired MK to gut renovate our home in Logan Square. The house was built in the early 1900s and converted to a two flat in the 50s. We wanted to convert it back to a single family home. MK was a true partner is this process. They recommended a wonderful architect and they were incredibly fair with the pricing and their timing estimate. They told us they would be ready for us to move in prior to school beginning and they kept that promise. We worked with them for over two years on this project and were very pleased by their communication, expertise and craftsmanship. As we hit inevitable bumps, they always worked with us to give us their recommendations and made every effort to stay within budget. After hearing so many challenging stories about working with contractors, I was surprised by how relatively smoothly it all went. We really enjoyed working with Marcin, Marek, and Greg and appreciate all their hard work. If we ever need a project done again they will be our first call. Thank you MK Team!

  We went with MK for our home renovation after having a bad experience with a different contractor. I'm so glad we did. They really performed stellar quality work. We loved working with Marek and Greg who saw our project through. I highly recommend MK and would hire them again in an instant.

  We have had an exceptional experience working with MK Construction on the 2024-2025 remodel of our Oak Brook, Illinois home. Over a 9 month, three phase project, the MK Team has provided incredible service, completed work on time and on budget, been flexible with changes, and been incredibly responsive to our desires, needs and timing. Every MK worker has been fantastic--carpenters, electrical, painters, drywall, plumbing, wall paper, etc.--each has been on time, helpful and accommodating, asked questions, and all clean up. Carpenters Bart and Andrew have been terrific, and do great work with attention to detail. Project Manager Arek Szlachta has been amazing--responsive, helpful, honest, always available, and has pushed his team and subcontractors as needed. We have lived through the remodel, and because of MK had no issues doing so. The costs were fair and explained (and small changes were made without issue or cost), and the quality of the work and craftsmanship is superb. MK also worked closely and seamlessly with our designer. We will not hesitate to use MK Construction again, and strongly recommend them to others.--Michael & Lori Kayman, Oak Brook, Illinois.
