The best in the Southland! I contacted A Better Door & Window to correct a problem to my front entry door that was installed by a Contractor almost 2 years ago. It was poorly installed. Service Technician Carlos shook his head in disgust on how much daylight was coming through my front door. Carlos was professional and very knowledgeable about all the mechanics of how a door should be installed. On the days we had the negative temps(1/22-23), the cold air was seeping through my front door really bad! I am happy to say, Carlos fixed the problem areas around my door! It was money well spent for the labor!! I highly recommend this company for your door and garage needs! Thank you Carlos and A Better Door & Window!!

Wow! Bob is amazing! Our garage door had been damaged in multiple places when ice cemented it to the floor. Bob was able to restore it to full working condition. Do not hesitate to hire A Better Door & Window for garage door repair! We will be calling them for any future repairs or replacements. Thank you, Bob!!

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE SERVICE — READ THIS BEFORE YOU EVEN THINK ABOUT USING THEM! Let me make this VERY clear: this business is an absolute JOKE from top to bottom, starting with the OWNER, Rocky! The most unprofessional, dismissive, and downright INCOMPETENT person I’ve ever dealt with in my life. First of all, I’m an educated Black woman, and I need that to be crystal clear before I continue. The behavior and attitude I received were not only unacceptable but also felt prejudiced. The arrogance and lack of accountability were disgusting. Let’s start with the basics: Rocky couldn’t even get the size of my garage door right! Every other reputable company I called gave me a completely different (and correct!) measurement. Red flag #1. This so-called “experienced” company doesn’t even know how to measure a garage door properly — that’s pathetic. When I called him out on it, he came back out, and guess what? He was WRONG. I caught the mistake before the order was placed — not him, ME, the customer. Then things went from bad to unbelievable. I placed my order on September 25th and was told the door would arrive in 3–4 weeks. Weeks went by — NO CALLS, NO UPDATES, NOTHING. I wrote them a check (which I never do), and guess what? Shortly after, my bank alerts me to THREE unauthorized check payments in my name. And this is the ONLY company I wrote a check to. So, yes — the timing is beyond suspicious. When I brought this up, there was zero compassion, zero apology, zero accountability. After that, I had to be the one constantly calling THEM to get updates. Not once did they take the initiative to contact me. I called multiple times, was told the door had “arrived” on October 24th, and that someone would call me. THREE TIMES I was told I’d get a call. And guess what? NO ONE EVER DID. I finally had to drive to the store on my day off just to get some answers. The so-called “manager” there acted completely unconcerned. I told him they had until Monday, November 3rd to install my door or give me my money back. He said “Rocky will call you today.” Of course, he called me then. When Rocky finally did call, he had an ATTITUDE — as if I were the problem! After weeks of being ignored, lied to, and disrespected, this man had the NERVE to talk to me like I inconvenienced him. So yes, I hung up on him. You dare to argue with me. I have someone you can attempt to argue with, and that person is my father! Funny enough, when my father called him, suddenly Rocky changed his tone completely — respectful and polite. That says everything I need to know about the way this business treats women, especially Black women. To ANY other Black woman (or anyone, really) thinking about spending your money here: DON’T DO IT. Save yourself the stress, the disrespect, and the headache. There are plenty of companies that will actually appreciate your business and treat you with decency. From start to finish, this company has been unprofessional, careless, and flat-out shady. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone, and I will absolutely be filing a formal complaint. HORRIBLE SERVICE. HORRIBLE BUSINESS. HORRIBLE OWNER. Avoid this company at ALL COSTS.

Had a front/entryway door that was installed incorrectly by the previous owner and stopped opening/closing once the cold weather hit. I called to get it fixed, the owner came out the following day for the estimate, and the tech was here the morning after to complete the work. The pricing was very reasonable. The tech (CR) answered any questions I had during the project, and walked me through everything after the work was done. My door is now perfectly functional, no drafts, no sticking, no light through any cracks, and they also took care to make sure the aesthetics were preserved. 100% would recommend for any needed door repairs. They'll be my first call the next time I have any door or window issues!
