He solved our problem, gave us a couple of ideas to prevent it, and booked a follow up for a more long term solution. If I could hire people like Anthony right out of the gate, I would! Great tech, great service. The communication (texts!) from RT before, during and after were really helpful.

The gentleman was able to get everything to drain and explained that we were ok for now but there was still something blocking the pipe somewhere. It was determined where the issue was and they returned to remove tree roots from the pipe. They thought they would have to dig up the front yard to do it. They showed up with a back hoe and before digging they wanted to try to unclog it without digging. They worked for quite a while in the crawl space and were actually able to unclog it and replaced the section of pipe that needed replaced. All without digging. The service was great and I give them more than 5 stars for their work. However, after submitting an insurance claim we have been unsuccessful at getting roto rooter to give us or the insurance company the info requested by our insurance. There have been numerous calls to them and we are told someone will call back and it never happens. I give them 0 stars for this. They did great work and were paid when the work was completed. It seems that once they were paid they no longer care. As a company you would think they would want repeat customers. This is definitely not the way to do that..

- ABAutumn BlankenshipDec 22, 20253.0This review was redone after calling another plumber, realizing the initial shower problem could have been fixed at the service call. A tech was initially sent out that couldn’t do the work, which confused me, and said water heater looked good by looking at outside and age, but it hadn’t been cleaned out for 9 years. Ended up being full of corrosion. Tech said I need a plumber, which I had asked for on initial phone call. Sean came the next day and was very kind and friendly, and took the time to explain things. He called to find a new shower head system for our master bathroom, but never called back on status of that. He had said our current parts were junk, but system wasn’t very old. I believed him, and ordered a new brand name one as suggested. Sean looked at shower, tried it out, but didn’t open anything up, he resealed a shower drain pipe, and flushed water heater. Service seemed pricey, but that would be a company rate, and isn’t his responsibility. I decided to call another plumber to install the new shower system that I ordered, when I didn’t hear back from Sean. The new plumber opened up the cover, and was able to fix the current system, just needed the valves turned and it was fixed. I’m now disappointed that the shower cover wasn’t opened up to see what might be wrong when tech or Sean came out, since I had paid for a service call and it could have been fixed that day and saved me ordering new system and paying another plumber. I believe I overpaid when the fixable problem wasn’t fixed.
