  Very good experience with Thermaseal. They did spray foam insulation in my attic. Clear communication, fast work, and a huge difference in temperature. Some of the earlier reviews mention communication and timeliness issues. We primarily worked with Chris and had no problems there. There would have been a fee to pay by credit card, but there were multiple payment options that did not have fees.

  I hate surprise costs and extra fees. Credit Card fee announced after the fact, when I paid my bill. After I told our salesperson twice I would be paying with Credit Card. Not a good way to do business. Why should customers have to pay the companies cost of owning a company. I was told 11:00 arrival they showed up at 7:45am, I still had 1 hour of work emptying the Attic to do. Finished work was good, install Team polite and hard working. When I asked for a quote I told the salesperson it needed to include all fees and we were paying with credit card. . When we received the quote there was a total and no mention of credit card fees. When I got my bill and promptly went to pay it with a credit card tgey said there is a 3% fee. When I discussed it with them they basically said "sorry we charge a fee and there is no way around it. It's not the money it's the principle of hiding a 3% fee after discussing it.

  We had a terrible experience with this company. First the salesman never showed for his appointment and only called several days later to say he had a family emergency. This happened twice during our time dealing with him.When the installer did install the insulation he left 17 holes with insulation inside open to the elements stating he ran out of plugs and that someone would be out the next day to complete the job. No one came the following day and we had high winds and rain for 2 days. My husband and I covered the holes with duct tape to keep the rain out of the insulation. I contacted the manager since many days passed with no resolution by this company and he told us this was the first he knew of a problem and they were out of plugs and it would take another week to get the plugs. My husband went online and was able to have plugs sent to our house within a day or so. The installer did finally return to put temporary plugs in the holes and showed my husband text messages he sent to the salesman and the manager on the day of the initial installation. This meant we were likely lied to by both the salesman and his manager who both stated to us they were unaware of our situation until we started making phone calls. The same installer finally returned to complete the job with the wooden plugs and this time he was angry and rude toward my husband stating that he was really tired of coming to our home and working for no money! In summary this was a horrible and stressful situation with absolutely noone at this company who acted professionally toward us and I would strongly recommend finding someone else to insulate your home.
