- JVJohn VeersNov 1, 20251.0Bradbury installed a new furnace/AC for us in 2016. The heat exchanger failed this year, so I thought it would be good to have Bradbury handle the installation of the warrantied part. They quoted $1350 for the labor only job. It looked high to me, but they thought it would take two men about 4 hours to complete. Still looked high, but I went with them anyway. One tech showed up for the installation, and he finished it in two hours and 45 minutes. He did a good job. However, even allowing one additional hour travel time, that works out to right about $360/hr..!! (I hope the tech gets a nice chunk of this!). My mistake for simply going to them because they did a good (and competitive) job for me on the installation 9 years ago. Evidently, things have changed at Bradbury since then! My warning to anyone thinking of using $Bradbury$ is to get competitive quotes from other reputable contractors in the area. There are plenty.

After calling around to compare prices, I found their fee to be very competitive. Shelbie was very friendly and professional from the start. I really appreciated the appointment reminders and the courtesy call to let me know the technician was on the way. The technician that arrived was just as friendly, and did an amazing, thorough job. You could tell he takes pride in his work and cares about doing things right. I’ll definitely be using Bradbury again.
