  I am about a month late in writing this review, but wanted to circle back to it. Hill & Hill plumbing is by far the best plumbing business in Bloomington. We had an issue during the reconstruction of roads in Meadowbrook. The city sent Hill and Hill to examine my home / water after doing road work. They encountered a problem the regular crew couldn't handle and called Hill & Hill. They figured out the issue quickly and then took the time to solve it. Because I was so impressed with how knowledge at the trade this family run business is, I hired them when I had a personal need recently. Once again, the person they sent, knew exactly what the issue was, took the time to explain it to us, and then proceeded to fix it. They were able so solve an ongoing issue that companies with big brand names (won't bad mouth them here), couldn't solve. If you need a plumbing job done, I'd call Hill & Hill. It is very obvious from the moment they come to your home that they know this trade at a very elite and professional level vs any other plumber in town (we've hired at least 5 other plumbers over the last 8 years). It's not that other plumbers couldn't get the job done, it's that they couldn't do it as proficiently and with the certainty Hill and Hill did. Their work is thorough and they diagnose what is happening quickly. It's very impressive. Love that we still have family owned businesses that know their trade. I read some reviews about pricing / billing (and those seem to be the only lower scored reviews)... I will say I did find them slightly more expensive than say a well known chain in town. Here's the difference, that well known chain in town was able to fix a clog for me, they were not able to figure out my water pressure problem and no other plumber I hired through the years could solve it or wanted to take on the job. Hill & Hill walked into my bathroom, I believe the son of the owner, took a pocket knife out and put his hand around the faucet... In 5 minutes.. BOOM great water pressure out of that faucet. Solved a 5 year long problem at my house. Perhaps they do net out a bit higher on invoices (not outrageously higher though), but you get what you pay for. The time I paid them for solved a problem nobody else could solve and that ended up being well worth it and ultimately cheaper than hiring 3 places to look at the same issue without being able to diagnose or solve it. As mentioned, the chains in town were able to solve basic stuff. Hill and Hill solved something complex and you can tell it comes from many years of knowing this trade inside out. TOTALLY WORTH it. Their work and knowledge of the plumbing trade is elite and there is a VERY NOTABLE difference in the skill level.

  I installed a new furnace and AC system in my home and all I needed was to have the line set ran and refrigerant released and checked along with the drain coming from the a-coil. I was there the whole time helping besides the brazing. Wife and I was shocked seeing a $1900 bill for that!!! I think everything was way overpriced parts included. The technician even burnt the paint off the corner of my condensing unit and had to intervene a couple times on what a straight line looks like. I’m sure Hill and Hill is a good company but with my experience it wasn’t that great. Sorry!

  I can't say enough good things about Hill & Hill plumbing. They arrive on time and the work gets done quickly. The professionals explain the problem and what they will do to fix it. Highly recommended!

  Hill and Hill were very prompt in getting someone out to save me from the heat! When my AC stopped working, they sent someone out very quickly and got me back in shape (without running up the bill with unnecessary expenses)! Thank you so much Eric for your help and explanation of what happened and how you fixed it. Thank you so much Amy for getting someone right out and your big friendly smile! Can’t recommend Hill and Hill more highly for your AC needs!
