She first was going to give me the wrong equipment as well. Hopefully they can make this better bc I’d hate to take my companies work elsewhere I typically have a good experience.
- LLLevitan888Jul 23, 20241.0Good afternoon. I want to leave a bad review for Sunbelt. Before this, we worked several times with this company, which did not fulfill its obligations. Sometimes the equipment arrived in a faulty state and at the wrong time. Very high prices compared to competitors. Renting a Skyjack or forklift was twice as expensive as other companies. Delivery of a Skyjack with rental for one day was $700-800, when in other companies it was $275-400, depending on the area. The dispatchers do not pick up the equipment after the call and the end of the rental for various reasons. For example, they didn't receive a call about the end of work. They didn’t put equipment on the pick-up list, they forgot it, or they weren’t responsible for their work. And the most interesting thing is that the company specifically leaves the equipment on the customer’s premises and does not take it away, and rent is calculated as for every day. In our case, equipment was ordered for one day, after finishing we called the dispatcher and warned that we had finished and they could pick up the equipment. They did not take anything and kept all this equipment for more than 3 weeks, and issued an invoice for each day. This company is full of scammers and cheaters!!! They don't admit their mistakes!!! Stay away from them and don't trust them.

What do I need to rent a tool?
All you need is your driver’s license or a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card to pay for the rental upfront. No extra deposit is required.

Is a deposit required for a reservation?
For customers without a line of credit, Sunbelt Rentals does not require a deposit to rent tools and equipment. However, you will be asked for payment information when you make your reservation. Your credit or debit card will not be charged for the rental period (one ((1)) day minimum) until you pick up the equipment.
For Credit Customers, we will secure a deposit for your reservation. This deposit will be held within your account until the rental equipment is returned and the contract closed. Apply for a credit account here.
If your project is quick and you only need the equipment for a few hours, Sunbelt Rentals does offer a Rapid Return rate. Return the equipment within four (4) hours of the pickup time and we will refund the difference of the Rapid Return rate. Rates will vary based on product. What if I need to keep my equipment longer?
If you need assistance, please contact the branch of the equipment rental and they can extend the rental for you. When you keep the equipment longer, we will add the additional time and charges to your contract and credit card. Please refer to the rental contract, where the day, week and 4-week rates are shown for each piece of tool and equipment.
Can I return rented equipment at any location?
Typically, equipment should be returned to the same location where you initially rented it. If you need to return it to a different location, please contact the store where you rented the equipment for guidance. It’s advisable to call ahead so we can assist you in finding a convenient alternative location for your return. Your convenience is our priority.
What is the cost for the delivery of equipment to my location?
The delivery charge is calculated based on the category and class of equipment, the location of the rental location, the distance of the project site from the rental location.
Can I get tools and equipment delivered to me?
Yes, Sunbelt Rentals offers convenient delivery options from our extensive network of locations for a reasonable fee. When making a reservation, simply select the delivery option. During the reservation process, you can specify the delivery drop-off date and time, as well as your estimated equipment pickup date. The estimate is for our planning purposes and not a final date.
To initiate our equipment pickup service, you must confirm the end of your rental via the app or by phone. Additionally, if you have specific delivery instructions or prefer a designated contact person for coordination, please include those details when submitting your reservation.
For businesses utilizing a commercial credit account, associated delivery and pickup fees will be reflected in your invoice.
To receive notifications about your delivery, adjust your settings in your account to receive reminders and updates related to your delivery and pickup.
What happens if a tool breaks or quits working while I am renting it?
Sunbelt Rentals inspects and services each piece of equipment prior to each rental and should be in good working order. If you experience problems with the tool while renting it, please go to the specific Equipment Detail page within the reservation to request service. If you need additional assistance, please contact the branch of the equipment rental and they can arrange for next steps or a replacement. If you want to have protection in the event of damage, Sunbelt Rentals offers a Rental Protection Plan (RPP), which can be purchased at the start of your rental.
What do I need to rent a tool from Sunbelt Rentals?
