  If I could give them no stars I would. I called last week to find out how much 2x6x10 are, i was told $7.63. I called today to make sure they had enough for my project and thought I would ask for the price I was told $8.50. Of course i was not happy about it. So I asked to speak to a manager and they were in a meeting I have called multiple times and even left a message for the manager on his phone to call me. I have not recieved a phone call. Guess they dont need my business

  My complaint goes to whoever was driving a trailer with the license plate (2348TI) on 25th heading southbound on 9/30/2025 around 3:30 pm. He was cutting off lots of people and driving very recklessly while having a trailer attached keep in mind. I watched him cut off a car in the roundabout who nearly hit him due to his negligence and proceeded to swerve in front of him once the driver was trying to pass him. I called the company to report him and they simply told me they were not going to do anything about it. Terrible drivers, terrible customer service, now I can only imagine how terrible their work is.

  As an update to my last review: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I want to give a big shout-out to Wade in the warehouse! His great attitude stood out immediately — he was polite, respectful, and clearly cares about helping customers. On top of that, Wade worked with speed and efficiency while still paying attention to detail. It’s refreshing to see someone who combines hard work with such a positive and professional demeanor. Thanks to Wade, my experience here was smooth and stress-free. He’s definitely a valuable asset to the team! I am thoroughly impressed with the team at Builders First Choice on Holmes Ave in Idaho Falls. Chris demonstrated outstanding expertise and knowledge, addressing all my hardware needs with precision and efficiency. His ability to understand exactly what I required and provide tailored solutions was invaluable. Kelly and Mike truly elevated the experience with their exceptional customer service. Not only were they friendly and professional, but they also took the time to remember my name, creating a personal connection that made me feel valued. Every question and concern I raised was met with thoughtful attention and clear solutions, leaving no detail overlooked. The level of care and professionalism shown by Chris, Kelly, Gio, and Mike exceeded my expectations. Their dedication to ensuring a seamless and positive experience has made me a loyal customer.   Good selection, and the staff is great, but the delivery and pickup return is horrible. Items are often not sent even when on invoice and then when they picked up the left over material they tried to not count half the items. So take a picture when it arrives and before you send it back. Slightly better prices on longer lumber but Lowes is way better on standard stud prices and the lumber nicer. Bad edges and lots of slivers from BMC wood. On the Douglas Fir, not the cheaper Hemlock or other stuff.
