- MMMike McLeanFeb 3, 20261.0We were treated very poorly by sales agent Oliver. Prices were extremely inflated and they quote you at a price and interest rate that is completely inaccurate as they like to come back to you the next day after you’ve applied and have been approved based off what the offer was and they tell you that it’s changed due to more homes in the community selling so quickly. We were told RA can give me a 4.875% only to be told the next day it’s now gone up several points on interest rate and price of the home is higher because they just happened to sell another model that same day which seems to be the constant excuse. This is such a horrible business model and people should tread lightly before considering this community. I would never recommend Richmond America to anyone I know and I strongly suggest doing your homework. Reporting my issues to the BBB and filing a complaint with the city of Eagle after my experience here. Adding more for potential customers to view; I was instructed to get connected with the VP of sales whose name is Ben to address my concerns on how much of a horrible experience this has been. As I figured, I got no where with our conversation, was told he was hired into his VP role to drive profits higher and he intended to do just that. The entire time we tried to discuss the problem, there was no apology and he continued to explain to me that it’s all about the profits and that. Even though I have a ton of written documentation on the offer that was discussed before applying, he didn’t seem to care and said the price increase was his decision. I’m starting to realize why the staff seems so disgruntled when they work for a company that fails to deliver on their promises and screws up grantees sales for them! Horrible leadership!

Very personable and willing to work with you, I highly recommend working with Grant. With respect to Richmond Homes, they were easy to work with, especially getting a loan (we used a VA loan). As long as you have your documents ready, they will make the process smooth. We are extremely happy with our home at Hevostila. It’s perfectly situated in Eagle and the neighbors are wonderful.
