  I don’t think most people look back fondly on the day a water pipe explodes in their crawl space…but we actually do. A couple of years ago, that’s exactly what happened to us. We were lucky enough to call Wickstrom first. They came out quickly, fixed the immediate problem along with a few others we didn’t even realize existed, and left us feeling much better about our home. Since then, Wickstrom has been our first call whenever we’ve needed help. We’ve never had a bad experience, everyone we’ve worked with has been helpful, professional, and respectful. That said, our latest visit really stood out. Ryan Urch was friendly, hardworking, and knowledgeable (what more can you ask for!?). This visit was for our HVAC system, which we had basically ignored since buying our home. By the time Ryan finished, we understood what was working, what wasn’t, and what our options were going forward. In about an hour, he helped us go from knowing almost nothing to feeling confident and informed. Wickstrom will always be our go-to for anything around the house. We’ve had so many great experiences with their team, and our visit with Ryan is one we’ll genuinely remember.

  Jaime came out to check my HVAC system and did an amazing job of checking the entire system and going above and beyond. He took pictures and showed me the inside of my system and how he cleaned up what should have been done by the new construction contracts when the system was initially installed a few years ago. He was honest and didn't attempt to up-sell unnecessary repairs. I appreciate Jaime's professionalism and honesty and highly recommend Wickstrom to anyone needing any of the services they offer.

  I signed up for a $29 furnace inspection and tune up. Austin completed the work in a competent manner and documented the various tests with photos. My 26 year old lennox gas furnace was found to be in good shape, needing only a cleaning of accumulated dust from the blower motor and fan. The $479 quote to do the cleaning seemed excessive so I declined that work. I remain impressed with the thorough inspection that Austin did and highly recommend his work !

  Literally days before tech Harley was scheduled to come out, we decided to sign up for the maintenance program since our HVAC units are approaching 17 yrs old this fall. Glad we did. (Thanks, Maryann!) CO measured at 10 PPM (not horrible), but we realized it just made sense to replace all (4) units at this time. So Chris and Doug also came out on Friday to go over everything, and Doug showed us many options from which to choose. We made our decision, they gave us a couple of awesome space heaters to get us through the next few days, and another team came out early today (Monday, 2/16 Pres. Day holiday) to do the work. Levi E. led the team of Kaden, Stetson, Jaime, and Morgan, and they had everything done in one day. Levi E. did a thorough review of the new systems (much more advanced/efficient compared to what we had previously) and also the changes in venting, the better adherence to code, esp. in prep. for the independent inspector who will be coming out soon. Husband and I were delighted with the professionalism, knowledge, and friendliness of every single technician on the crew. They made sure to clean up as well, even leaving the areas cleaner than when they arrived. P.S. They were super nice to my bratty🙄 little male Chihuahua/Poodle mixes!

  I manage several Boise properties and have used Wickstrom for years. Traditionally, I could rely on them to do great work at a reasonable price. However, more recently, they are acting similar to the private equity owned, home services companies in Boise. I call Wickstrom for a relatively simple fix and instead of just taking care of it they recommend a highly expensive new system for the property. They are also referencing nebulous safety concerns as part of their sales pressure. I brought this to their attention in a feedback call and Wickstrom did the same thing again the same week. They also keep pushing annual maintenance subscriptions even after you decline. I stopped using other Boise companies for this same type of conduct. I would be more cautious calling Wickstrom now and would recommend getting a second opinion for any major work they recommend. Sorry to see their company go down this path and hurt their reputation. They used to be a five star company.
