- MHMitch HeadenSep 27, 20254.0It's amazing how pricey service is. $540 for a reefer service with no major add ons. A $16 seal and the $236 service, plus an additional $270 for labor. It's as much as a PM on my Paccar with a ton more oil. Besides the cost it took almost 3 hours. I did get right in a door at lunch time so take that into consideration. Everyone was very nice and friendly. Clean shop with about 6 doors. That being said, the tech didnt clean off the oil he spilled when changing the filter. Is that petty?; maybe. But for almost $600 id have liked to seen those shop supplies they charge for used to clean up the access area a little bit. I needed the service so what can I do. Im probably gonna invest in the tool I need to just do it myself.
