  Secretary was rude. Had to reschedule multiple times and on the correct date they texted us 40 minutes after they were supposed to be there to let us know they would be there in 10 more minutes.

  Would definitely not recommend. They had to send out two different guys just to do the estimate and then still couldn’t give us an exact price. (This was going to be a very small job and we already had the carpet so just needed he work done.) They rescheduled our appointment once and then no showed the next appointment. We waited around for 35 minutes for them, appt was supposed to be from 8-10. I didn’t get any contact until 8:38. When i called to see what was going on, the secretary was extremely rude. She didn’t even offer to reschedule the appointment. Very unprofessional.

  If you want to argue with a secretary for months, have anxiety from looking at poor quality, watch them screw up your insurance claim and deal with permits that weren't pulled at all then go with Stoneking. They measured my tub wrong and now my wall is at a 30 degree slant. My toiletpaper holder has shims in it and I cant put up shelves. It looks horrible. And im worried if i sell my house people with think its water damage bowing the wall out in one spot. The contractors liked to show up with zero warning "in between projects". We had zero time to move stuff before it got covered in drywall dust. I have a small baby at home and my significant other was not happy they would just show up without even a warning call. My partner felt overwhelmed dealing with moving things and an infant who was just woken up. And trying to clean up the dust after the many impromptu visits. They stole my motion sensor light. I had to argue to get them to come fix the outlet that they installed that isnt working twice. They claim the job is done and wont even fix it. The drywall looks horrible. Their own crew told me how the drywall guy used to be good but doesn't care now. It had to be redone 3 times before they just gave up. The mess was not worth more attempts. It is a joke. The job was started months ago and they still cant get it together. But they sure know how to send a bill before the job is done. I asked and asked about why the permits werent pulled. They hoped I wasn't paying attention because they failed to get the plumbing permit before my wall was closed up. Imagine the fun conversation their rude secretary had pushing the blame to me when I asked her multiple times about it. They wouldn't work with my insurance to break up the quotes so insurance denied part of my claim. And then stoneking screwed up and told insurance they did stuff that I had done so I had even more arguements with my insurance about who actually removed debris (me). The anxiety is not worth it. Hire someone else. Whatever they want to respond with just know you could avoid this same scenario if u just hire someone else. Their whole crew is turning over so fast they lack quality workers. are the only company in the Cedar Valley area that even bothered to respond to my desperate plea on Facebook/ answer their phone/ show up for a quote/ and get me on the schedule for a bathroom remodel. I had no working shower in my house for weeks when I posted on FB looking for a contractor- that is when Stoneking reached out to me and was even willing to deal with my insurance headache. Also, Nathan is extremely intelligent about woodworking which was a giant plus because I have a house that is over 120 years old. Other contractors made my finish foggy when they applied an incorrect chemical to my old woodwork but Nathan immediately told me he could see the difference between spray on and rolled on poly.

  I’ve been trying to get new cabinet doors and hinges installed since I signed pricing and paid my first payment in July of 2020. It’s now February of 2021, all invoices are paid and I still don’t have a finished project. Lack of communication is so very frustrating and promises not kept, are overwhelmingly high.
