  Schaal was hired to clean our HVAC in 2024. I recently got into our HVAC to retrieve a toy that my child threw down the vent. Unfortunately, while retrieving the toy, the duct was very dirty. It’s understandable that things get dirty over time, but the duct had debris from remodeling that took place over 5 years ago (ie dry wall chunks and plastic packaging). I’m just disappointed because Schaal typically has a good reputation, and this is a particular service that requires a lot of customer trust that it is done correctly. I suppose I just expected more. (If Schaal sees this, please reach out so I can show you video evidence.)

  Super fast assistance! Also, quality humans. As a female I would truly have no idea if they were being honest or just wanted my money. They 100% had the opportunity to sell me an expensive solution I did not need. Instead they came back and tried a different solution for a small fee compared to what I thought we would have to do. Very honest business with trustworthy & kind humans doing their work!

  Garbage disposal installed today and the install time was about 35 minutes. The company uses flat-rate pricing. My options were $400 for labor only (which works out to roughly $686 per hour) or $605 for labor plus the disposal — and that price already included a $50 first-time customer discount. This is a very expensive service for the amount of time required. I’m disappointed with the amount paid for that time. Pricing was not provided over the phone and was only shared once the technician was onsite. The technician was friendly and the work was done correctly. My rating is based purely on the pricing so others can understand the cost structure ahead of time.

  Wasn’t very knowledgeable. Couldn’t give us a reason as to why 3 faucets were frozen but all others were working. I’ll call another plumber next time. UPDATE: In response to your response; It would have been nice to know what recommendations there were, but as our technician didn't know, it was hard for him to recommend anything. All he was there to do was walk around, take pictures and then give us prices to rebuild a couple of faucets... He knew absolutely nothing in regards to why a couple of the pipes on our 3rd floor were frozen. We will go with a different plumber next time that might know a little more. You asked me to review our experience and this is my honest review.

  Chatted using their chat service on their website. Communicated with "Nancy". All I was trying to get answered was if they did radon mitigation installations. They were requiring me to provide all my contact information just to answer that yes or no question. I even stated I was more comfortable giving my contact information once they confirmed that they did that service. They still wouldn't give me an answer. Sounds like a scam when their name came up first when searching for companies in my area to do that service but can't even confirm they can. Look elsewhere for services.
