Also immediately arranged a next day follow up visit to replace some valves that had become quite corroded but not observed by us. Much appreciated.

- KBKenny BengeJan 3, 20261.0This summer, our AC unit stopped cooling and my usual HVAC person found we were low on refrigerant and recommended I call around to see if any HVAC businesses in the area would have any in stock and be able to replenish at a reasonable price, since it was discontinued. I called Indy Mechanical and was told yes, they have the discontinued refrigerant, but they would not give me an estimate over the phone. Instead, they said they would need to send someone out the next day to inspect and then provide an estimate. I took the next day off work so I could be home for the appointment, but they kept pushing it back all day until they told me at 530pm they wouldn't be able to make it. I was furious and escalated the matter internally to get them to my house that evening. They finally showed up later in the evening, but only for their technician to tell me they DO NOT stock the refrigerant!!!! Instead, they took the opportunity to quote a full replacement unit. And of course, it was overpriced. I do not recommend.
