- AAAericka AlatorreJan 24, 20251.0If I could give this company zero stars, I would because it doesn’t even deserve the one. We have a 3 year old TRANE furnace and it went into early heat exchanger failure two days before Christmas. We had Northwest heating and Air come to look at it and they told us TRANE didn’t have a heat exchanger on hand and it would take 30 BUSINESS DAYS to make a new one. We have three little ones and have been running 9 heaters to keep the house at a comfortable temperature. (You can only imagine what our electric bill will look like) we had to take our little ones to a hotel from Jan 19th-Jan 24. Our pipes at our house are frozen, even though we let the water drip we endured -20 degree weather for 3 days straight and our faucets all had a frozen line of water from the bottom of the sink to the faucet. Food in our cabinets we frozen solid. We received a call from northwest saying they got our part on Jan 22nd and would install it at 8am Jan 24th. Today, Jan 24th we got a call saying TRANE send the wrong part. Which is confusing because we only ordered ONE part. The heat exchanger that they had to MAKE, so if it’s in the process of being made still how was a random part shipped for us? Do not buy this furnace. They have offered NO reimbursement for our hotel which was $700 dollars. On top of food we had to buy every night for the kids because we have no kitchen. Two of our children had chest colds Sunday until TODAY and our house is frozen. We are taking this to the better business bureau, KWQC6 news, and getting a lawyer TODAY. This company doesn’t deserve to be in business. Every HVAC company we had come out all said the same thing “man… we HATE TRANE furnances. They’re trash” and man THEY WEREN'T LYING.
